"Alright, partners, let's get to it." Kate said, handing the still unnamed dog's leash to Jasin who happily took it. "You pick up on any tension between Maya and her wing man who spoke sign language, or was it just me?"

"His name's Kazi," Jasin clarified.

"So I take it these Tracksuit guys are into some pretty bad stuff?" Kate questioned.

"Yeah. Bad stuff." Clint scoffed.

"Care to elaborate?" Kate asked.

"Not really." Clint answered, looking over to Kate then behind her to where Jasin was glaring at him. He sighed, "They started small, but grew. Or at least the guy at the top, he'll do anything to grow the operation."

"I thought Maya was the boss." Kate said, unsure.

"No, there's someone above Maya." Jasin said darkly. "Someone you don't wanna mess with."

"There's obviously bad blood with Ronin, right?" Kate asked again.

"Yeah," Clint answered shortly, then went on to explain. "Ronin hit the supplier on the other side and then hit Tracksuit upper management."

"Sounds like a lot of drama," Kate concluded.

"Which is why you should never get involved in organized crime," Jasin spoke, looking to the dog who turned back and gave a happy whine.

Is Jasin a very affectionate person? No. With Kate? Yes. Would she let Kate be squished up against Clint in a car? Absolutely not.

So, here they are, Kate sitting on Jasin's lap in the right backseat whilst Clint sits peacefully in the left one.

"Do you think that the Tracksuits were after anything else at that auction?" Clint wondered aloud.

"I don't know. I was pretty focused on Jack and Armand." Kate admitted.

"I don't know Jack all that well, but I know he's not dumb enough to murder someone." Jasin thought, wrapping her hands around Kate's waist.

"It's pretty upsetting to think there might be stuff from the Avengers Compound floating around out there." Clint said, troubled. "So, you still think Jack is involved somehow?"

"Yes. There's too many coincidences." Kate said, certain. "He was at the auction that night and yesterday, he offered me a butterscotch."

After a moment of silence Clint spoke again, "Not exactly a crime."

"Not unless it was monogrammed butterscotch," Jasin spoke, staring at Kate who nodded.

"Then when I tried to stab him in the face to prove he was lying, he parried like a pro." Kate said seriously.

"You tried to stab your mom's fiance?" Clint asked.

"When did this happen? Why wasn't I invited to watch?" Jasin pouted.

"Plus, he has everything to gain from Armand's death." Kate finished. "And sorry, Jasin. That was a few hours after you dropped me off at work, and a few hours before Maya got us."

"Oh, okay. I was sleeping then."

"Look, the Jack thing, it's weird." Clint said, getting the girls back on track. "I get it, but it's not exactly air tight."

"Right," Kate agreed. "Which is why we need more evidence. And why we're gonna sneak into my mom's penthouse."

"Bet. Seems like someone knows how to have a little fun around here." Jasin said, smirking.

"Wait, wait, wait- what?" Clint asked.

"We can get into her company files. Bishop Security has a huge criminal database," Kate explained. "There's gotta be info on the Tracksuits and Jack in there."

"Yeah." Clint said, uncertain, shaking his head.

"You sure no one's home, right?" Clint questioned, stepping out of the elevator with the females.

"Yes. Relax." Kate spoke, belinning it to a different room while Jasin dealt with the dog, letting him off the leash.

"Jeez, this is a home?" Clint asked, gazing around.

"Yeah. My great, great, great, great grandfather built the building." Kate said, then pointed up to the chandelier hanging above Jasin and Clint. "I tried to swing from that very chandelier and broke my arm. So, yeah, pretty impressive family, all the way around."

"Wow," Jasin said unimpressed as Clint and her followed Kate in the room she took off to.

Walking in, they saw Kate deep in search, mumbling hacking talk.

"I'm in the wrong business." Clint announced, looking around in awe at the place. "How did you say Armand was killed?"

"Stabbed with a sword." Jasin and Kate answered.

"See if there's anything on Kazi," Clint requested, walking closer. Jasin shifted behind Kate and peered over her shoulder. Kate searched the name, something soon popping up.

"Okay, what's this company, Sloan Limited? Kazi is an employee?" Kate mumbled.

"Wait, Sloan Limited, that sounds familiar." Barton spoke.

"You think there's something there?" Kate asked.

"I know there's something there." Jasin said. Kate and Clint nodded.

The creak of a door opening caused Jasin to snap her head up, soon looking Clint in the eyes, both knowing what the other heard.

"Stay here, with Kate." He whispered, softly walking towards where he heard the door open.

"Let me see what I can pull up on Jack," Kate whispered, typing away again. "Crap. Now there's an embedded hardware authentication?"

Clint peered around the corner, taking in every detail, soon walking into the middle of the room, out of Jasin's sight. As Kate started hacking through the authentication, Jasin stood at the corner where she could see Clint and Kate.

"Anddd I've just been locked out." Kate said, unamused. She looked up, seeing Jasin at the corner but no Clint. "Jasin? Where is Clint?"

Jasin made a 'shh' motion and waved her over towards her, soon focusing her attention back on Clint. She watched as he rounded the corner and the sound of a blade unsheathing echoed in the room.

"Don't move."

"Don't threaten my family, Jack." Jasin warned, hand still outstretched from when she threw the dagger, which pierced through the wall holding a dangling sword.
