Jasin was up early the next morning, mindlessly flipping through TV channels. That was until Kate came out of her burrow.

"Wait, go back," Kate requested, Jasin listening.

'A major NYPD investigation is underway. New York socialite Armand Duquesne was found dead in his home last night. Witnesses saw a mysterious figure leaving the scene', The news reporter stated.

"But that's..." Kate said, eyes veiled.

Just then did Clint enter the room, Kate spinning around to him while Jasin stayed focused on the news.

"Just a mysterious figure? What about me.. We both ran out." Jasin thought.

"Yeah. Yeah." Clint said.

'The description matches the masked assailant from last night's auction robbery. These two events have officials wondering if indeed, the Ronin has returned to New York City, if he may be responsible for Armand Duquesne's death, and what he may do next.' The reporter concluded, Jasin turning the TV off after seeing a panic rise in Kate's eyes.

"Oh, my god. Wait. Wait, they think I... They think I'm that.. Vigilante?" Kate asked, astonished.

Clint nodded his head, "It's been less than 24 hours, you've been on the news twice."

"Impressive." Jasin murmured.

"Told you that suit was bad news." Barton stated, walking away and into the kitchen.

"How would he know?" Jasin questioned herself. "Unless.."

"Clint, I gotta go." Kate said with a certain urgency.

"Uh, no, no, no. That is the last thing you need to do, actually." Clint confirmed. "Let's not forget the Tracksuit guys that tried to kill you twice yesterday."

"Fair point." Jasin agreed, Clint roughly placing a jacket down on a table.

"I'm going to find this suit, and until I do, you're going to stay put. It's not safe, obviously." Clint concluded.

"Not showing up at work is not safe. My mom is already high strung. Surprised she hasn't called me already." Kate said.

"Just stay put, please." Clint said, gentler, whilst putting things in a bag.

"Look, if I stay put, she's just going to come and find me anyway. She owns a security company. It's literally the safest place I can go." Kate pleaded.

"Yeah, no. You're just not going to listen to me, are you?" Barton asked, already seeming to know the answer.

"I want to, but no." Kate answered honestly.

"Go get changed," Clint said, adding, "you look silly."

"I'd personally rather use the word foolish, but silly works too." Jasin said with a devilish smirk. Clint gave a cautious glance over to the female.

"I'll go see what she has." Kate said, walking away.

The two sat in silence, Jasin on her phone while Clint stared at her.

"Have you ever met a man named Loki?" Barton questioned.

I cannot be freed until I have regained ALL of your trust. By knowing you cannot have children, as two of you are male and the female cannot reproduce, I have an offer.

Oh, yeah? What would that be?

I can create a child of yours. The only risk is I cannot guarantee they will not acquire some of my magic due to me creating them.

And how would you do that?

It's very simple really, but rather disturbing...

"..sin? Jasin!" Clint said with a concerned expression, shaking her shoulder. She had gone completely quiet after he asked about Loki. Had he done something to her too? "You all good, kid?"

"I'm fine. I was just thinking about what you asked. That name sounds familiar, but I cannot tell where it is from." Jasin answered, brushing off Clint's hand.

Although it was quick and pretty thorough, Clint could tell she was bluffing. But just barely. If he hadn't caught onto how her grammar changes when she lied, he wouldn't have noticed.

"What happened to her?" Clint wondered, eyeing the young adult.
