Kyungmi wasn't enjoying herself very much these days. There was still a heavy tension between her and Taeri, while Maeyeong attempted to play peacemaker for them. It was all starting to become a very stressful situation for all three of them.

The boys haven't been around since they stopped by that day, but they made sure to keep in touch, letting the girls know that they were fine. Kyungmi and Jungwon were growing much closer while Sunghoon and Taeri started to get to know each other. Maeyeong on the other hand was the odd man out, completely losing her mind from being cooped up in the house all day.

"Eonni," Maeyeong called out as she plopped on Kyungmi's bed, disrupting her nap. "Let's go out," she said, in hopes of finally getting out of the house.

Kyungmi groaned and rolled over, "where would you like to go while it's pouring?"

Maeyeong looked upset with the blunt rejection. Eonni," she whined. "I haven't left the house in a week. A whole week! I need some fresh air!"

Kyungmi squeezed her eyes shut as she sighed heavily. "Maeyeong-ah, what would you like me to do about that? Taeri-ya said no to you going out, I'm not playing good cop, bad cop with her right now."

Maeyeong looked displeased with Kyungmi's veto. "Eonni, how come you won't even talk to Taeri eonni? You ignore her every time she merely attempts to approach you."

Kyungmi pulled herself into a sitting position, "you wouldn't understand, Mae-ya. Kang Taeri does this all the time, it's seriously makes me question why I even continued to stay friends with her. She knows that my family is my weak point, and every time me and her get into it and I say something that she doesn't like, she uses it against me. That's not right. I can't keep giving her chances," Kyungmi's response made Maeyeong simmer down.

Maeyeong had no idea that this was a reoccurring thing between the two, she just assumed that it was the first time that something like this had happened between them. "I didn't know. I'm sorry."

Kyungmi smiled at Maeyeong before shaking her head, "it's okay, you're just a kid after all," she said.

Maeyeong pouted- "I'm not a little kid, eonni. I'm already 14."

Kyungmi hummed, "like I said, a little kid."

The rest of the day went as usual. It was an exceptionally peaceful day in the house. Maeyeong ended up forcing Kyungmi to binge-watch a show with her on Netflix while Taeri was gone for the entire morning, out running errands.

Kyungmi was fast asleep three episodes in while Maeyeong silently munched on popcorn beside her, her eyes glued on the television screen. The sound of the door slamming shut snapped Maeyeong's attention away from the show, trying to see what was going on from Kyungmi's bed.

Maeyeong jumped when she saw Taeri dart past the door, thinking she had seen a ghost. "Holy," Maeyeong mumbled as she pressed her head to her chest, feeling her increased heartbeat, "she just scared the crap out of me."

She quickly paused the show and jumped out of Kyungmi's bed. Maeyeong raced after Taeri, curious why she was running around the house. "Eonni, what the hell? You scared the crap out of me," Maeyeong harshly whispered, trying to avoid yelling and risking waking Kyungmi up.

Taeri ignored Maeyeong as she opened her laptop, clicking around. Maeyeong eyes Taeri weirdly, confused as to what she was doing. "Yah, come here," Taeri spoke as she patted the spot next to her.

Maeyeong did as she was told and sat down beside Taeri. Jungwon, Jake and Heeseung were all on the screen making Maeyeong even more confused. "What is this?"

Taeri hushed Maeyeong before playing the recent V-live.

"Oppa, can you be my boyfriend?" Jungwon read aloud. He released a soft and awkward chuckle before shaking his head, "sorry, I already like someone."

Taeri paused the video while turning her attention to the shocked Maeyeong. "What are we supposed to do? If people find out who he's talking about— HYBE is definitely going to ban them from seeing each other— for good this time," Taeri was quick to point out.

"Well, what can we do about it? He already blasted it all over the Internet," Maeyeong countered, "and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if ENGENE were already digging around to figure out who he was talking about."

The two allowed the silence to fall over them, giving themselves time to ponder what they could do to help the situation. The sound of Kyungmi grumbling quietly peeked Taeri and Maeyeong's interest, "what is it, Jungwon-ah?"

"Nuna~" Jungwon out to Kyungmi, a pout formed, "I did something bad."

Kyungmi had Jungwon on speaker, making it easier for Maeyeong and Taeri to eavesdrop on their conversation. Kyungmi sighed before pushing herself up into a sitting position.

"How bad?"

Jungwon paused. "Bad-" he mumbled after a few minutes of silence. Kyungmi stayed quiet, giving Jungwon time to explain without feeling pressured. "Do you promise that you won't get mad?"

Kyungmi laughed gently, "you know that I can't promise you that, but I promised to not yell."

Kyungmi's promise gave Jungwon some courage to come clean, "um, well..."

"Come on, Wonnie. What is it?" Kyungmi rushed, wanting nothing more than to roll back over and go back to sleep.

Jungwon released a shaky breath, "I told everyone about you without actually telling them about you."

Kyungmi hummed, "okay, and?"

Maeyeong and Taeri turned their heads to look at each other, shocked at how calm Kyungmi was about the situation. Jungwon struggled to form a sentence, speechless at Kyungmi's laid-back reaction. "Why do you sound so calm right now?" Jungwon questioned, not sure if he should be worried and go into hiding for a few days or jump for joy.

"Yang Jungwon- did you forget that you made me watch your live last night?" Kyungmi snapped.

"Yah, I didn't make you do anything," Jungwon argued.

Kyungmi rolled her eyes at the younger male. "You whined on the phone with me for like a solid fifteen minutes until I finally agreed to watch you."

Jungwon peeped out a small 'oh' before falling completely silent. "Yah," Kyungmi called out softly, making Jungwon hum in response. "Why would I get mad at you?"

Kyungmi spoke to him with a gentle tone. She was being sincere. She didn't understand why he thought that she'd get mad. "Because, you don't want the world to know about whatever we have going on," he explained.

A smirk crept onto her face, "and what is it that we have to go on?" She asked. It wasn't a secret that the two of them had feelings for each other, even though, neither one of them had openly confessed to the other.

But.

She wanted to hear it.

Kyungmi wanted to hear Jungwon admit it.

More than anything.

Jungwon sighed, "are you seriously going to make me say it?"

Both of them were smiling ear to ear. Kyungmi hummed, waiting for Jungwon to say it. Jungwon took a moment to compose himself, trying to make sure he could say it without getting nervous. "I like you, Nam Kyungmi."
