Today was something Taeri and Kyungmi called, 'Mindful day.' It was a day when they turned off their phones and focused purely on themselves and each other. To put it plainly, it was a friendship/self-rebuilding day for them.

Taeri lazily rolled out of bed, searching for her phone to check the time. Panic set in when she couldn't find it. She rushed out of the room. "Kyungmi-ya, we were robbed!" Taeri screamed as she rushed around their apartment.

Kyungmi grumbled as she waddled out of her room. "What the hell, Taeri-ya?"

Taeri grabbed Kyungmi's shoulders, shaking her. Kyungmi looked at Taeri as if she was crazy. "Someone stole my phone, Mi-ya."

Kyungmi shoved Taeri's hands off of her as she rolled her eyes. "You put your phone away last night, remember? Today's Mindful Day," Kyungmi interjected.

Taeri's eyes widened in realization. "Oh. Right." Kyungmi made her way over to the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of water out of the fridge. "You know, I wonder how the guys are doing, we haven't heard from them in a few days," Taeri said.

Kyungmi chugged down half of the water bottle before giving Taeri a blank look. "I'm sure they're fine. They said they'd be busy for a few weeks and most likely wouldn't see them," she stated. The last time the girls saw ENHYPEN was when they came over and cooked dinner.

The boys were busy getting ready for K-CON so the girls weren't expecting to see them anytime soon anyway, but neither one of them could lie and say that they weren't curious as to how the guys were holding up.

"We can call them tomorrow," Taeri shrugged. Kyungmi nodded her head in agreement. "Today is all about us. So what do you want to do today, Mi-ya?" Taeri asked as she linked her arm through Kyungmi's.

Kyungmi shrugged while looking at Taeri. "We could run out to that cafe and then shopping. It's been a while since we've gone shopping together," Kyungmi suggested.

Taeri smiled brightly at the suggestion. "Sure," she agreed. "I'm going to shower first," Taeri said before rushing off towards the bathroom. Kyungmi sighed once Taeri was out of sight.

This is exactly what Kyungmi needed. A day to sit back and relax. A day when she didn't have to worry about everything going on in her life. A day to focus on the only things important. "This is going to be a good day," she whispered to herself.

The girls walked into the cafe making the small bell above the door chime. The young man behind the cashier looked up at them and smiled brightly. "Good morning," he chirped. Kyungmi had to reframe herself from cringing at his chirpiness. Kyungmi was anything but a ball of sunshine, especially before she had fully gathered herself for the day.

"Good morning," Taeri chirped back.

"What can I get you two this morning?" He asked.

Taeri looked over the menu. "Uh, I'll take a Mango Milk Tea with tapioca and a Strawberry Smoothie, please."

The cashier nodded his head as he logged all the information into the computer. "Okay, ladies, this is your total. Cash or card?"

Kyungmi slipped her debit card up between her forefinger and her middle finger. The cashier motioned for her to insert her card into the machine. Kyungmi paid for their drinks before they moved over to the side, waiting for their drinks to be prepared.

Taeri nudged Kyungmi. Kyungmi lazily moved her eyes to look at Taeri. She hummed, acknowledging Taeri. "You okay? You've been awfully quiet this morning."

Kyungmi nodded her head, not paying much attention to Taeri. Her eyes drifted back down to her feet. Taeri looked up to see two guys walking toward them.
