When Cas entered the Winchester home it was oddly quiet, usually Dean was telling Sam to clean or they'd be cooking in the kitchen but the place was entirely silent. He pocketed the keys Dean gave him and made his way upstairs to Dean's room.

He gently turned the knob, whispering a quiet "Dean?" He opened the door to find Dean half awake against the headboard of his bed with Sam sleeping peacefully in his lap. He groaned slightly "Mmph, Cas?"

Dean managed to slip out from the bed without disturbing Sam and he and Castiel left the room, leaving the door open to keep an eye on his brother "Sammy couldn't sleep last night so I let him crash with me."

"Is he alright?"

Dean gave a confused nod "Yeah.. I think so.. I mean- just damn Cas, I didn't think it'd be this hard.. but Sammy- he's really growing up." He looked back at the boy sleeping on his bed "I'm terrified that I'm not doing a good enough job-"

"Dean- Dean breathe okay?- you're doing a great job with Sam, he's only fourteen and he's already an amazing kid."

Dean parted his lips to reply but Sam's soft groans from the bedroom stopped "De?- De-?" Dean went back into the bedroom "I'm right here Sammy, c'mon." Sam sat up and swung his legs over the bed, taking his time to blink repeatedly- he frowned when he saw Castiel "Sorry, Cas didn't mean to be a total cock block." He stood up with a yawn.

"Sammy watch your mouth." Dean said sighing with a roll of his eyes, "Go and take a shower, we'll talk later." Sam groaned, half yawning as he stood up, stretching in his 'Scooby Doo' tee from Dean and boxer shorts "M'kay."

Dean huffed as he sat down on the bed, Sam stalked of to shower and Castiel entered the bedroom, sitting beside him "..Cas.." Dean didn't even know what to say, he knew they had to talk about it but Castiel didn't know what to say either but then Dean was grabbing him into a hug.

Castiel hugged him back. It was a hug that was meant to say that they were going to be okay no matter what.

Dean sighed as he pulled away "Cas.." He hid his face, "I don't.. there's a reason why I don't tell you about the people I've been with."

"-Dean you don't have to tell me, I thought about it and you're right it was stupid."

"No it wasn't, if you want to know then I'll tell you."

"Okay.. so then what's the reason?"

"I don't want you looking at me like a 'sexual deviant'- it's the last thing I need." He said, honestly "People at school talk enough."

Dean was known as a ladies man and a player around the highshool, his fake friend group was full of the hottest girls who hung on the arms of all the football players.

He wasn't exactly fond of it since people loved to whisper about him hooking up with Lisa, Cassie and his 'love' of messing around with any guy he deemed cute enough.

Though there wasn't too much truth to the rumors students already had their version of his story.

Castiel's brows jumped in surprise, "You really think I would do that?"

"I don't know what to think-"

"Look Dean if you really think that badly of me you don't have to-"

"No Cas- I.." Dean exhaled, he really didn't want to get into this. "Three months before we started going out a couple of my friends thought it'd be a good idea to go to a college party. I met a guy..Nick he was eighteen or nineteen. I told him I was seventeen.."
