Dean blinked, surprised with the sudden sunlight as he woke up. He looked down to see the boy with the messy mop of dark hair was still sound a sleep, his arm gripped tight to Dean's side.

Dean smiled warmly, he loved mornings like this, it all almost felt normal again. Like the last few days hadn't happened. "God, you're so adorable." He whispered, running a hand gently through Cas' hair. The sunlight hit him perfectly, even better when Cas' eyes opened to reveal his beautiful blue gaze staring back at Dean.

"Dean.." He mumbled, groggy and confused.

"Morning."

"Mmph.. I hate mornings." Cas buried his head in the pillow and groaned, "I know you do buddy." But Dean said it with a smile. Castiel turned his head, though still firmly pressed into the pillow,

"You sleep like an angel."

Castiel smiled softly at that, slowly and gently crawling on top of Dean to kiss him. Dean hummed and fisted a hand into Cas' hair at the back of his head.

They both savored the moment,  sharing closed mouth kisses and soft smiles. This was good, Dean thought. So fucking good. "I suppose we should get up now."

"Why?"

"You have work Dean."

Dean shook his head, he wished. "Bobby won't even let me step into the garage. He's making me take time off until I 'feel better'." He ended his sentence with an eye roll. "Speaking of.. how did lunch go the other day? I meant to ask."

"Uh? oh.. yes.. lunch." Cas moved off of Dean.

"Oh no- I know that tone," Dean said suddenly, watching as Cas' eyes darted around the room. "Something happened.. you're guilty."

"No I am not."

Dean laughed, "C'mon Cas just tell me, it can't be that bad."

"Okay.. okay I was going to tell you anyways so.. here.. it.. goes.."

Silence passed. "Cas?"

"I um.. I kissed someone.. who wasn't you!" Cas said fast and loudly, "Well- she kissed me and I swear I didn't want it I didn't want her. I feel so terrible."

"Woah, woah Cas babe you gotta slow down." Dean couldn't help but chuckle, not able to comprehend the situation just yet and Cas' face was beet red. "Start over."

"Well, you had ran off and I wanted to find you but my mom made me go to some stupid breakfast thing at the club with Hannah and her parents and then we went to the beach and I was just so upset I didn't know she was going to.."

"Hold up, so she kissed you?"

Castiel nodded. "..Are you upset?"

"Yes. I'm furious."

Cas wanted to cry. "..really?"

"No!" Dean laughed out loud, "Babe, that's it? You're acting like you screwed her or somethin."

"But.. we kissed- she.."

"Cas, I know I get it. Okay? Doing anything intimate with someone other than me is like the worst thing to you, but I'm not mad." He promised, "Maybe I would be if she was a dude because in case you forgot you're gay." He reminded with a smile.

"..that is true.."

"Exactly, so yeah I'm not happy she kissed you- especially when we just established that you're mine but I have no reason to be pissed at you." He pulled Cas back down to lay with him. "Besides, who could blame her? You are smokin' hot."
