I walked up the stairs going to my room. When I got to the top i felt something crawling up my leg and quickly looked down. It was a hand? Nothing attatched just a fucking hand??? My eyes widened as it got down on the floor and put it fingers up revealing a note. I kneeled down looking to see if anyone was around. No one was? I hesitantly reached out o pick up the hand and stood up reading the note. "Come to my dorm -Enid :)" i furrowed my brows. And the hand hopped up and crawled up my arm to my shoulder making me jump a bit.

"Ok..." i huffed out staring at the hand. It pointed the towards the hall where Enid room is. I nodded and began walking. Once I reached the room I opened the door quickly closing it behind me and i looked at the hand again. Still on my shoulder. "Y/n! You got my note!" Enid said excitedly. She rushed over to me. "Thank you thing." She smiled picking it up. "What is that??" I asked looking at the hand.

"This is thing. He's my little helper!" She smiled patting things wrist. Or atleast what was left of it. "I told you that thing isn't for your special services." Wednesday suddenly appeared next to me. She stared at Enid. "Well he's bored! He can go on some of my special missions!" She laughed. "We have more important work to do." She looked at thing who jumped down and followed Wednesday to her desk. "So what did you need me for?" I asked Enid.

"Dresses! Did you find one yet???" She smiled widely. "Shit." I sighed. "I forgot. I'll go get one now since it's on like 6." I turned to leave. "Hurry! Remember downtime is 10!" She called after me. "I know!" I shouted closing the door. And with that i headed back into town.

*in town*

I walked by the familiar coffee place tyler worked at. I looked in the windows seeing no one and continued my walk. I felt a hand on my shoulder and quickly turned to see Tyler. "Hey!" He said with a big smile. "You know... i never got your name." He took his hand off my shoulder and back walking with me. "Y/n." I said. "Y/n, that's a pretty name." I looked at him a felt my face heating up. "Thank you." I looked ahead of me hoping I wasn't blushing. "Hey, how come I've never seen you around before?" He furrowed his brows as we crossed the street. "I don't know... i was here before but left for three months. But i never went to town much before."

"Well I'm glad you did." He said smile remaining. "Me too." I looked at him. "So what are you doing in town? It's gettong dark." He asked. "I'm supposed to be getting a dress." I paused looking at the dress store. "But from the looks of it they are closed." I sighed. I looked at the ring on my finger. "I would give you a solution but your best bet it to come back tomorrow. What do you need a dress for anyway?" He asked. I faced him. "Well tomorrow there is this dance thing, it's called the rave'N." I smiled. "But I'll just come get a dress tomorrow." I shrugged.

"But i do have to go back to nevermore. So I guess I'll see you later?" Tyler looked down at my shoes and his gaze moved up my outfit before landing on my face. "Can I go with you? IVE never really been inside of nevermore." I chuckled at his question. "I Can try sneaking you in." I shrugged. "We aren't supposed to have guys in our rooms. But who's gonna tell on me? I don't have a roommate so."

"Well let's go then. I'll just tell my dad I'm on a walk or something." He sent me a toothy smile. His smile was pretty. It made me smile just looking at it. "Perfect. Let's go!" I began walking back to nevermore. I know how much trouble I could get in for having a guy, let alone a normie in the school without permission but, i really am starting to like him.

*at the school*

We ran up the stairs and i looked around for any faculty or students. Clear. I smiled to myself as I grabbed his hand running down the hallway until we reached my room and i quickly pulled him in. Both our breathing was heavy as we caught our breath. "How did you enjoy the speedy tour?" I laughed. "It was fast, but everything is big and fancy so. I'd say I enjoyed it."

I walked over to my bed sitting on it. Tyler walked around slowly as he took in the features of the very boring and plain room. "The window. It's actually really cool." He nodded to himself as his gaze moved across the window. "That's my favorite part about the room." I stood up. "Wanna go onto the little porch thing?" I looked at him with raised brows. He nodded with a smile and i opened the smallish hatch climbing through. Tyler followed after me and i went to the large stone surrounding the edge. I looked at the big school and then the moon. It was a pretty view. I spent most of my free time out here before I left.

Tyler stood next to me admiring the scene before us. "It's so nice up here." He said. His eyes left the view before him and landed on me. I looked over at him. "I know, it was my favorite place. And it still is." I smiled. "So for your dance thing... you taking anyone? Like your boyfriend or friends?" He asked. "I don't have a boyfriend, honestly the only reason I'm going to this thing is because of Enid." I laughed.

"Well, if your interested, can I go with you? Ya know to see what it's like at nevermore? Like as friends?" He sounded a bit panicked asking me and over explaining it leading me to 2 explainations he likes me, or he's got anxiety. I'm hoping more for the he likes me. "Yeah, you can come. I'll say your my date and they will let you in." I smiled.

He smiled widely. "Thank you y/n." I nodded. "Of course." He opened his mouth to say something but stopped himself and shook his head. "What?" I asked. "Well, i was thinking we should be friends and not strangers who meet occasionally." He laughed. "I will gladly be your friend Tyler." I chuckled. I reached my hand out and he looked at my hand then to me before shaking my hand. "I finally get a handshake." He joked.
