Russia was anxious and horribly scared.. which wasn't very common for the tall country but he had a good reason. His father wanted him to visit them at his home for a few hours. Which also wasn't common.
As a matter of fact, Russia hadn't seen his father in quite some time. Maybe a year or two perhaps even. He was scared that his father somehow knew about Canada and was going to hurt Canada or him...
He had told Canada of his fear and they had tried to comfort him, but at the same time they themself feared the worst.
Obviously this meant Russia had to return home, Canada was very saddened and highly disappointed with this but understood why it had to be done. He gave Russia a nice long, lovable kiss and wished him luck before watching the Russian walk back to their apartment with sad eyes. He hoped they'd be ok...
Once there, Russia nervously picked out something that his father would approve of him wearing.
In the end he simply wore a T-shirt with his black jeans and a dark brown jacket. He sighed and looked at the ground as a million different horrible thoughts clouded up his mind and overshadowed everything else in his head.
Russia hated his father and they returned those feelings, why would he ever want to see him so suddenly if not to hurt or lecture him?
Or maybe something even worse.. if so he'd just take it like a man, and if it had to do with Canada.. he'd be there to protect them.

Russia took the bus to his fathers house, as it was a good 4-5 hour walk and he didn't want to arrive to their home dripping with sweat and sick from exhaustion after walking so far.
Once he has arrived at his stop his whole body felt numb.. he walked the rest of the way to his fathers home and would shudder as his eyes landed upon the large house which belonged to his father. In that house was the man he had never wanted to see again, but at the same time the man he feared and oddly respected so much that if they asked him for anything he'd obey them.
Outside his fathers house was two large stone lions, placed just in front of the steps leading up to the large brown oak door that would lead Russia into his old childhood home that had been the place where so many negative memories were made..
The lions were sculpted in a sitting position, their cold stone paws resting on a platform made of stone as well. Their claws were sheathed and they looked as unthreatening as two measly kittens outside the home which contrasted with the mood that Russia dreaded to find inside the house.
He made his way up the stairs, dragging every step slowly as to give himself more time to gather every ounce of courage he had inside his body. Before knocking, 3 times quickly and standing up straight with perfect posture as he waited for his father to open the door.
A menacingly tall man opened the door, even taller than Russia who was already well over 7 ft tall.
The man wore a black sweater and a long brown coat which went down past their knees, as well as a pair of black jeans and dark brown boots with buckles on the sides and strings in the front. On their head they wore a ushanka much like their son. On the ushanka was a bright red star embroidered into its soft fluff.
They didn't bare any dragon features however..
"Hello Russia.." The man said calmly in an accent similar to Russias but much thicker and a bit more noticeable. He welcomed his son inside and closed the door behind them before finding a seat in an old leather chair placed in the living room directly next to a large fireplace which had many pictures upon its mantel.
The houses decor looked very old, mostly consisting of polished wood and stone and not very modern looking. It looked as though it hadn't been changed one bit since it was built. It was a rather large house too for such a small area, having two large floors and an attic.
Russia made his way to the sofa, sitting down and looking at his father. "Hello sir-" he'd say, anxiety and fear audible in his voice.
"I wanted you to visit so we could talk- I heard a few things I'm interested in discussing with you in person." The talker man said, picking up a mug that was placed on the small coffee table and taking a long drink of the warm bitter liquid. Russia felt his heart beginning to race.
"I heard you found a girl you like? Yes?" He asked in an oddly cheerful tone which seemed to surprise Russia. "And here I thought you were a attracted to men- thank god I was wrong." He said, tilting his head to the side in a cheerful manner.
"But, I'm so proud of you. Meeting a young woman you have feelings for, and maybe soon getting married? Having a child to raise into a strong man or a beautiful young woman.. is she a country like you?" He asked, a proud smile on his face.
"Uhm- no- she's uh- human- like you.." Russia said, looking down a bit as he gently picked at his cuticles nervously. "Hmm.. a human wouldn't be my first pick if I was a country, but I'm still so proud of you regardless.."He said.
"It took me forever to get anything out of that little brother of yours.. but I managed. I don't know why I felt the urge to talk to him so suddenly but I'm glad I did. Otherwise I would've never known." Russia's father said with a deep chuckle.
The two men talked for many hours more... Russia was very uncomfortable all the while, and was nervously watching the clock in hopes he could leave soon.
"But lastly- I just wanted to give you a tip to help you out with her, it's worked for me.. I'd say just acting like a well mannered and confident gentleman makes you that much more irresistible.. I'd love to continue talking but- I do sadly have matters of my own I must attend to.. goodbye son."
Russia nodded nervously, picking up his coat which he had taken off and beginning to quickly walk away.
"Oh- and one more thing Russia." The taller man said, making Russia flinch and pause. "Yes?"
"I'm very proud of your improvement as a country, son.. you've grown into a very strong and very respectable man."
Russia paused for a moment, sighing.
"Thank you.. Sir."

You may have noticed that I made Russias father a human, this is because I wish to avoid any controversies and I do not want to bring potentially offensive subjects into this book, thank you.
