"Are you tired little leaf?" I smile softly, running a hand through Ivy's hair as she leans against my shoulder, her eyes slowly starting to droop.

Ivy, Rory and I are currently cuddled up on the couch watching Ivy's newest obsession, Charlie and Lola.

When she wakes up in the morning, the first thing she asks for is her pink milk show. If we don't put it on, she bugs Rory and I until one of us do.

"Mhm." Ivy hums, digging herself further into my side as she cuddles her bunny. "So tired."

"Why don't you go lay down?" Rory says softly from beside me, her hand on my chest.

Ivy shakes her head. "I watch Lola and Charlie." A bit off but close enough.

"You can watch it when you wake up bug." I chuckle lightly. "Let's get you to bed yeah?"

Ivy sighs, sitting up and looking at Rory and I with a pout on her lips. "Mkay."

"Tell mumma goodnight."

Ivy slides off the couch and tiredly walks over to Rory, rubbing her eyes. "G'night mama. Love you."

Rory kisses her head. "Goodnight bug. I love you so much."

I stand from the couch, pecking Rory on the lips before taking Ivy's hand and making the short trip to her bedroom.

Ivy hops onto her bed, making sure she has a grip on her pink bunny and the blue pillow case she kept from my house.

"Bestest 'arry?" Ivy mumbles as I tug her in. I look down at her and smile. I've gained yet another nickname. "You come tomorrow?"

"Of course. I'll be here when you wake up." Ivy shakes her head, frowning slightly.

Have I forgotten something?

Why is she frowning?

"You comin' to my lunch tomorrow?" Oh.

"The parent lunch?" I respond breathlessly.

Ivy nods. "I want you and mama there."

"We'll see little leaf." I smile lightly. "Try and get some rest okay?"

"Okay." Ivy whispers. "Love you 'arry."

My heart bursts and it takes everything in me to keep tears from coming out of my eyes.

"I love you too little leaf." I flip off her lamp and turn on her nightlight before walking out of her room, quietly shutting the door behind me.
