I listened to a song on repeat,
it reminded me of you.
Bittersweet,
But
I knew
It all made sense.
Sometimes, memories will leave a mark in your heart.
Weeks, days, months or even years later,
You'll remember them all.
It was never about the painful endings,
But more of the beginnings which led to unforgettable experiences.
From there on, you'll realize.
You'll realize how much those things meant for you.
You'll ache and ache to have those things back.
And you'll always wish for them to come back and meet you again.
Just like how songs end,
the lyrics will always be a reminder of how bittersweet things can be.
You'll end up saying, "This reminded me of you."
Yes, it did.
