I can't just keep on writing about the sad parts.
I wanna write more of the things you made me feel,
the little things I admired about you,
the company,
the sweet nothings,
the months and year you have been there,
the nights we spent talking about life,
the moments when you made me laugh,
the times when you weren't really trying to make me smile but I did,
the times when you waited for me to finish my tasks,
the days when you helped in revising my essays,
the days you read your stories with me,
the small talks we had about our dreams and ideals,
the many times I asked you to critique and read my poems,
the hours you spent listening to my stories,
watching anime movies,
listening to music,
writing poetry,
updating about our lives,
they were all so precious to me.
I'd want to go back and bring the good old days again.
I missed those.
It felt as if a thousand years has gone by without hearing from you.
But I know when I have the chance to look above the sky,
I'd see an indefinite amount of stars.
From then on,
the stars would remind me of you, Myriae.
The stars knew.
I told the stars about you.
I told them how much you're captivated by them.
I told them they're your favorite.
You know what I told them next?
I told them you're my favorite and they all glimmered so bright in my sight.
It's as if they were there to bring solace in my solitude.
The stars said,
"He'll always be there. Even if you can't hear from him, just look up. Both of you will remember each other through the beauty of the stars, through the stories you've shared, through the chapters you've both read out loud, through the memories you've had together, through the hardships you've gone through and everything in between. Someday, when the time is right, when you're no longer aching, when he's no longer hurting, he'll definitely come back for you."
The stars gave me hope.
I bid the stars goodbye and cried.
