Lost in the dark,
you were there to pick me up.
Bleeding inside,
you were by my side for a little time.
Stars in the sky,
I saw light
within your eyes.
But then,
I'm here now.
I'm torn,
You left me hanging in pieces.
I've got no one to hold.
It's cold, Darling.
I'll go to the moon and hide.
This sadness kills me inside.
Without you,
I'm a ship sinking down and down.
Over and over,
Again and again,
I'm sinking down.
I lost my compass
All the way to your heart.
I reached for the map,
but you reached to break it up.
7 billion people in the world,
and I chose to make you the center of it all.
You were the only planet that revolved in my solar system.
Now the stars disappeared,
and you did too.
But then
I'm here now
I'm torn,
You left me hanging in pieces.
I've got no one to hold.

Without you,

Over and over,
Again and again,
I'm sinking down.
I navigated,
and chose to look for the map itself.
You left me without anything else,
then I lost my way.
But then, I'm here now.
I'm no longer torn.
I'm rising from it all.
I'm trying to heal the heart that you broke.
I'll go to the moon and hide.
This sadness kills me inside.
