Her Pain

Don't you understand???
Those tears falling off her face
Staining her cheeks
Preventing her words to form
They're not just because she's sad
No, instead, they are full of all her emotions
The ones the world tells her to bottle up
To shove them down
To hide them
It's her confidence
Her depression
Her embarrassment
Her pain
But most of all
Those tears are her anger
She knows what she wants to say
What she wants to shout
Her mouth won't form the words
She wants to let you know
How she feels
No matter how hard she tries
Her tears are full of unspoken words
Evidence of her broken heart
And the anger she holds inside
