I Meet A New Friend

A few days later at 11:50 pm

Kaleb: Hey. You still up?
Annie: I WAS asleep.
Kaleb: Who's asleep at this hour?
Annie: Well you just met one who usually is.
Kaleb: Okay I see your point but you'll regret it tomorrow at school.
Annie:Uh huh I'm sure I will. Goodnight Kaleb.
Kaleb: No wait! I really have to tell you something important.
Annie:What Kaleb?
Kaleb: I really like your green eyes.
Annie: Thanks I've liked your since I first saw you.
Kaleb: Right back at you Annie. Goodnight.

Next day at school

I was sitting at lunch today with Amber and her friend, Amy. I was reading a book and listening to Amber and Amy bicker on why the Earth is round and not flat. I don't know how it got on that subject I was busy reading "Out Of The Easy" by Ruta Sepetys. when Kaleb so rudely came up behind me and pinched my side and I squealed like a mouse. At least that shut Amy and Amber up and brought them out of the argument to see what was going on. All you heard was Kaleb laughing and holding his stomach. As soon as he finished he sat down right beside me and asked "What was that Annie?" "Um you scared the shit out of me Kaleb!" I practically yelled. "Oh the good girl curses!" He chuckled while saying that. "Yes the fucking good girl curses why are you so fucking surprised about that!" I said. But before he could answer his ex girlfriend showed up. "Hey Kaleb! Hey Amy! What's up?" I could tell Amber didn't like her by the way she looked at her and she even rolled her eyes. Kaleb looked up at the girl with an annoyed look on his face. "What do you want Allie?" He asked. "Oh nothing I just saw that you were over here and thought I would introduce myself to the new girl." She said. Before I could react to what she said because I have been here over a month and am still referred to as the new girl. "Go away Allie she doesn't care who you are." Kaleb said. As soon as she stormed off Kaleb explained who she was. Apparently Allie was Kalebs ex girlfriend of two years and they had gotten really close until rumors started to spread of Allie cheating on him. And when Kaleb (who is big on telling the truth) confronted Allie about it she denied everything.Well Kaleb didn't like it and he broke up with her on the spot and she didn't come to school for two weeks and she was really messed up over it. But as soon as the school caught wind of it and she came back to school she was swimming in a pool of offers. She eventually said yes to one because she didn't want to be alone and she is still dating Holden of six months. But she still has a thing for Kaleb.
