Love Is Just The Beginning

Special Day!

I have been updating every day just in case I get side-tracked and cant update for a while so I hope that you have enjoyed reading the story!-M

2 Months Later:

       

It has been about 4 months since the accident happened. Everyone is just so happy to be out of the hospital and enjoying the summer months. Kaleb and I are going to be celebrating our anniversary tonight so I'm so excited I cant even sit still, and I cant stop staring at the time. I have to pick Kaleb up now since he still cant drive but I have no problems with driving the best boyfriend in the whole world around!

 We have a whole romantic night planned! We plan on going to a romantic dinner, walk hand in hand on the boardwalk, get ice cream, and just talk. I hope. Because Kaleb has been leaving little hints here and there that he wants to go faster but I hope he respects my space if not that would be TRAGIC!

I go up to my room like two hours early so that I can make sure I have enough time to make sure I'm prepped. I get my shower and blow-dry my hair. I pull my hair back in a messy bun then I undo it and do a whole bunch of other designs. I end up settling with a cute half up half down nice bun and curls. Then I move onto makeup. I go pretty basic with black eyeliner, peach eye shadow, and mascara. It sounds pretty basic but with my outfit it will look amazing!

After I'm done with that I move on with my outfit.  I change about 15 thousand times but settle on a royal blue dress with a floral design and lace trim around the top of the chest and some simple off-white wedges.

By the time I'm done I have 15 minutes left before I have to leave so of course I do what any normal girl does, I check myself out! And if I do say so myself I look A-MA-ZING! And before I leave my room I twirl around for a last minute check and satisfied with myself I shut my bedroom door and leave the house.

I get to Kalebs house and knock on the door and Sandra lets me in.

  "You look fabulous Kaleb is just going to fall for you even more!"

"Thank you Sandra." I say looking down at my feet.

And when Kaleb comes down the stairs all I think is......

"HUBBA HUBBA IS THAT KALEB?!" (WHISTLE IN THE BACKGROUND) 

I know the guy is supposed to think that but by the look on Kaleb's face he's praising the lord!

   He is wearing a nice shirt and black slacks and his cologne is heavenly (like no joke!). And much to my surprise he is bringing down two packages.

"Well I will leave you two alone have fun on your date but not to much!" Sandra says.

"Hey Annie!" Kaleb says happily while smiling. This is like the first time I've seen him smile since the accident.

"Hey! I thought we agreed not to get anyone anything that we had each other and that was enough." I say.

"Yeah but I couldn't resist once I saw these two gifts I knew they were meant for you!" He says handing me the larger package. I open it and it is a blue and orange corsage that matches my dress. "AW its lovely Kaleb!" and I give him a kiss on the cheek. "Okay now open the smaller on." He says excitedly "Okay Okay!" I reply. I open it and find a keychain with a heart and key on it. It was a sign he paid attention because in one of the episodes in Reba Sheyanne gives Vann the same gift and tells him he holds the key to her heart. I watched that episode in the hospital room the night that Kaleb became conscious in the hospital. And in the little box there was a note in there that said

              "Annie you hold my heart

   I am forever yours for no one else has been able

  to capture it. Please don't break it.

Forever yours, I love you!", -Kaleb

I kissed him right there in his foyer I was so happy! We didn't even do anything that night he came to my house instead. My mom was already in bed so we went up to my room. Since I had a TV In my room we stayed in there and cracked the door and cuddled up on the couch. I couldn't risk mother waking up and finding my door shut with Kaleb in there.

    But when the movie finished it was 1:35 in the morning so we decided it was to late to take him home. "Well." I said sleepily " You can stay in the guest room its down the room next to mine on the left." I started to get up but he pulled me back down and I fell asleep in an instant. I don't know why but I always felt safe in his arms to where I could fall asleep peacefully. I don't know what time it was that Kaleb decided to get up and go in the other room. But I know he picked me up put me in bed and I felt him kiss me and say "Goodnight Annie." And then I heard my door shut behind him and I heard the door to the guest room open and shut.

I slept better that night than I ever have knowing that he was in the room next to me and knowing that I would be safe.
