Love Is Just The Beginning

Busted! Maybe?

I know that i literally just updated my story but i wanted to update it again! So apologies! -M So my mom has some "big rule" about "NO dating untill you are mature and ready enough." Which really sucks considering if you knew me i can act a whole heck of a lot like a four year old on a sugar high, but worse. So when i came home from school one day and my mom was sitting on the couch i knew something was up right then and there. "Who died ?" I asked casually since in my family death isnt rare i mean its still shocking of who died but you get the idea. "You." she said simply i was surprised since i had all A's and my mom hadnt gotten a call from the school since i was in like in the second or third grade. "Some kid named Kaleb who claimed to be your boyfriend called the house a few moments ago and asked if you were here." I tried to speak but she cut me off. "You were a sucky liar in middle school and your still one in high school so dont even try anything. You know my rules on dating Annie why would you try and go around them?" "Because i never do anything wrong and it felt good and i really like this boy even more than i have ever liked anyone." I spoke plainly. "Okay i will allow you to date. IF you come up with good terms that i think are appropriate and think youll follow to a T. It seemed better than having her make up stupid rules so i took her up on her offer. "I would like to hear them at dinner please so that i know that you are responsible enough. You may go to your room now." She finished and picked up her tea and drank it. I swear i saw her smile while i went upstairs I felt that she was satisfied enough with the way i acted.

Once i finished practically sprinting up the stairs to my room i shut the door got my phone,pencil,paper,and i turned my music on. I called Amber and told her what i had to do she thought it insane until i asked for her help. One thing i have learned is if i have problems and i need her help shes up for it and if i dont want her help she doesnt want to hear my problems. Sometimes her advice is cruel but other times it can be nice to hear her opinion even if it is sarcastic. But she is there when i need her so i cant complain.......much.

 "Okay well i think one good rule is that you cant go on dates until your mom meets him." Amber said politely.

" Oh and maybe i cant go over to his house without an authority figure present."

 " I see what your doing your throwing in fancy words to make your mom trust you more. Very clever Annie! You know sometimes i admire your way of thinking it can be very sneaky."

" Um thanks...I guess. Oh and when he comes over here he cant come up to my room without the door open so that way my mom can see in."

" Dont forget the curfew Annie that is EVERY parents sore spot so dont make it to early but dont make it to late that your mom will get suspicious of what youll do in the time frame."

"Okay thanks Amber your a life saver! Got to go get my list done and take it down to dinner. Ill call you later to tell you how it went."

 "Okay sounds good bye Annie!"

Okay so after I hung up i made my list properly rather than scribbles and i wrote in cursive rather than my usual messy handwriting (that my mother hates.)

1. I cant go on dates until you meet Kaleb.

2. I cant go over to his house without an authority figure present.

3. The door to my room MUST be open if he is up in my room.

4. Curfew: 11:00 p.m on weekends 10:15 p.m. on weekdays.

Satisfied with my work i walked pleasantly downstairs and waited at the dinner table with my list to see what mother thought about it. I hope she liked the terms and my attitude because this was pretty much my whole life we were deciding. Considering I had never dated before so I thought that these were some pretty decent terms and conditions to follow.

 We will see what mother thinks of the list later. But i am going to cut it off right here so you can make your own conclusions to the next chapter. Thank you for the amazing idea of including Amber in this chapter your an awesome reader and an awesome best friend!
