"Do you promise that this will just stay between us?" Amber asked skeptically as if she was still questioning herself on whether or not she wanted to do this. "Of course whatever you want." I said soothingly as if she were a child. "Do you have somewhere we can talk privately?."Amber said quietly. "It must me important or scary if you need to talk somewhere privately." I could tell I pushed one of Ambers buttons because she shot me a frightening gaze. "Do you want to know or not?" Amber said menacingly. "Know what?" Allie asked. I screamed so loud that I made Amber and Allie jump. "I didn't mean to scare you." Allie said. "What do you need Allie?" I said as calmly as a shaking girl could. "Oh I just need to find a plug for my phone so I can text Holden." she said while blushing. Oh there's one upstairs in my room on the vanity." I said. "Ok thank you so much!" Allie said while skipping off upstairs to my room. I turned to Amber who was leaning against the couch. "Follow me." I said bluntly. "Where are we going?" Amber asked. "Well when my parents were fighting every night I explored the mansion and I had completely forgotten of this secret passage way." I explained. Amber looked like she was at a loss for words but she followed silently. When we got there Amber looked confused because there was no door, just a wall. "Look." I said And pushed the wall in it was filled with stuff. "What is this?" Amber asked skeptically. "Well on these dates that say 1942 it looks to be a bunker of some sort." I said. We both sat down on the floor. I didn't even have to ask because right as we sat down Amber started talking. "Ok here goes. My parents have been fighting here lately and I'm afraid it's gonna get real bad to the point that I'm gonna have to sneak out. School hasn't been going that good either I've been made fun of and called names and Allie has Holden, Amy has Ryan, and you well your working on getting Kaleb.So yeah and I was wondering if got bad at my house if I would be able to come here with you until it was safe to go home." she finished. I was completely stunned and in that time and moment I couldn't say no so I said what any plausible best friend would say, "Yes." "Wait what?Yes?" Amber asked as stunned as I was. "Yes you can come over and do whatever you need." I said. "Really you mean it!" She squealed. "Yes!" I giggled "Now let's go have some fun before people wonder where we are! I yelled.
