My mom smiles at the sight of me not in a skirt. She looks at my plain jeans and random t-shirt and beams. "Morning." She laughs. I sit on the stool beside her. "When are we leaving?" I ask.

I was thinking a lot last night, and I realised that maybe I do actually like George, in more than a friend kind of way. We just get along really well and he's actually pretty fun to hang out with. He gets along with Sap, even if he acts like he doesn't, and he's good looking.

"Soon, we're just waiting for your brother to finish brushing his teeth." I nod and pull out my phone to see what George and Sapnap have been talking about in the group chat. It didn't take long for Caleb to come rushing down the stairs. "I'm finished! Mom, I'm finished!" He called, running into the kitchen. "Okay, honey, go and tell your father." Caleb spun on his heels to bolt into the living room. "Dad!" I rolled my eyes and stood up, pushing my phone into my back pocket.

"Are you excited to see Amelia again?" My mom asked. She grabbed her car keys off of the counter. "Is that why you're in such a good mood?" She continued. I mean, if she's with her brother then sure, I guess I want to see her. "Something like that." I mumbled, making my way out of the kitchen.

"Is everyone ready?" My dad asks, standing in the doorway of the living room with Caleb trapped behind him. I raise my head in a half assed nod.

"Are you going to behave today?" He asks, following me out of the house. "He might." My mom replies from the door. Her keys jingle as she searches the bunch for the house key. "He seems to be in a good mood today." She finishes, locking the house door. My dad hums approvingly and I cringe. Assholes.

My mom unlocks the car and Caleb dashes towards his side of the car. I walk towards mine, clearly not as excited as Caleb but still, at least I'm willingly getting into the car today.

The car ride to the church is almost painfully slow. I was constantly begging my parents to turn the shitty Christian themed radio station off and play some songs we actually knew but obviously they didn't do that because according to them 'I need to hear this kind of music to get better'. It ended up causing my dad to give me some pointless lecture. "What do you think Amelia would think of you saying you like boys?" He asked, trying to make some sort of point. "I don't know but I don't really care either." I shrugged, earning a glare from the man.

He shook his head at me and stopped the conversation there, focusing on looking out the window instead. "Are we there yet?" Caleb asked, basically jumping in his seat. My mom turned into the church car park. "Almost, just let me park the car and then we can go find your friends." She smiled at him through the mirror, causing the little freak to throw his arms up in celebration. My phone buzzed in my back pocket and I looked out of the car window to see Amelia standing by her mom and Karl's family.

Karl is decent, I guess. I don't think he really knows about the whole gay thing seeing as he's the only person that is willing to talk to me but I'm not sure. I'm also pretty sure he's the person Sapnap has a little crush on even though they've only talked a few times on Instagram. Maybe, Karl is also gay and just hasn't told anyone.

I shrugged at the thought and tried to find George in the little huddle of people. I frowned slightly once I realised that he wasn't there with the others but as my mom drove past the church a familiar brunette stood out at the entrance. He had his back pressed against the wall with his phone in his hand. He typed something and then a few seconds later my phone buzzed in my pocket. My stomach twisted slightly as a smile broke out on my face.

The car stopped and I rushed to pull my seatbelt off and get out of the car. I threw the door shut behind me and I stuffed my hands into my jean pockets. George glanced up at the slam of my door and he smiled when he saw me walking towards him. He pushed himself off of the wall and tucked his phone into his pants pocket. He started walking towards me.
