we are on our way to dance and i think Abby might be a little upset with me because she expects me to lead the group to victory and i didn't.
|Pyramid| "come on girls let's go! join the party" Abby says. as we walk in
"did everybody have a good time in chicago?" Abby asks
"yes" we all say
"alright now let's talk about our group dance i thought it was beautiful i thought the costumes looked gorgeous on everybody i gave everybody a challenge with acting you all did it." Abby says
i smile
"alright now Maddie you did a new solo last week i know there was some boys you were worried about but you beat them you can't psych yourself out backstage understood?"
Maddie nods
"yes." she says
"Nia, i watched the trio and i watched you closely i feel like you were a beat behind, it's the difficult technical things you have trouble with that's what you need to keep working on." Abby says
"yes." Nia says
"we have a lot to do i'm gonna get right to the pyramid." Abby says and walks over to the pyramid
"at the bottom of the pyramid Chloe, you were one of the most advanced dancers sitting in this room but i want more from you, you need a challenge you need to work up to the next level." Abby says
i frown for Chloe i have absolutely no idea why she's on the bottom
"remember there's no i in team but there's and m and a e and it's all about me understood?" Abby asks Chloe nods
"alright moving on Nia, Nia that trio you wanted it you got in it like i said you have the style and the sass but the rest of it is a mess." Abby says
"Paige, you did a great job did your part i want more."
"next i have Mackenzie, Mackenzie you continue to improve each week every week i come into the studio you learned a new trick but i don't want all be about your gymnastics got it?"
"yeah" Kenzie says and nods
"and moving up Brooke, i thought that your part in the group dance was excellent just watch the chin in the headstand no more hickeys." Abby says
"alright next Kayla, i gave you the challenge to act and you did that, but i want more i want you to be able to do all types of dances not just lyrical and jazz okay?"
"yes" i say and nod
"okay and at the top of the pyramid is Maddie, you won the overall high score you beat justice you beat all the boys congratulations." Abby says

we all clap and i give Maddie a small hug
i'm very happy for Maddie she's been wanting back up the top for ages
