we arrive at the studio and it's weird now since i know we're leaving but no one else knows but Maddie so we can't let it show that we are off
we go in and we warm up

"next Kendall, you were in the group dance you were fine"
"JoJo, did a solo she did not place"
"Nia, you were good you were fine."
"next up the pyramid we have Mackenzie, you were ourstanding in the group"
"and then Maddie, Maddie you were the baseball player that got to slide into home they loved you"
"and next we have Kayla, you looks gorgeous in the costume your technique looked great"
i smile and nod
"and on top of the pyramid Brynn, congratulations you were in the duet that did win"
we clap for Brynn

"alright this week we are attending Fierce national dance competition in the Gloria Hills there's going to be incredible kids there now the group dance the group routine is inspired by the movie The Huntsman Winters War, now this is important we get this right because it's a huge film" Abby says
"we have the fire queen which will be played by Kayla and the ice queen which will be played by cold hearted snake over there Mackenzie and Maddie you can choose which side you want to be on because you're the sisters you're dueling you fight to the end"
"i'll be on Kaylas side because if we are battling Mackenzie it's the twins against the little sister" Maddie says
"you betcha" i say and i high five Maddie
"we are doing three duets and one solo, so Nia you are doing a duet and your partner is Mackenzie" Abby says
"awh that's so awesome" mom says
"this piece is entitled The Long Goodbye" Abby says
"Maddie last week you didn't do your duet... you are doing a duet with Kendall"
we clap for the girls
"alright my last duet goes to Maddie and Kalani"
"i'm doing two duets?" Maddie asks
"wait how come she gets TWO and i haven't even had ONE this season?" i ask
"wait all those week you are gonna miss you have to make them up in the dances" Kalani says
