The Beginning Of The End

the break was nice, i enjoyed the relaxed schedule

but it's time to get back to work and i hope this season is good.

mom pulls up to the studio

"i spot a Chloe Lukasiak!" i yell over as The Lukasiaks get out of their car

"i spot a McKayla Ziegler!" Chloe yells and she runs to hug me

we all enter the studio and go into studio aA

Brooke Paige or Kelly aren't here and it's really sad because it doesn't feel like our teams complete

Abby then walks in and takes two head shots off the pyramid

"i'm not doing a pyramid right now." Abby says

oh, okay.

"i'm angry at the people who aren't here, i'm disappointed but i'm also angry at the people who are here you had six group
numbers some of you know two of them some of you know one of them that's not going to be a winning number"

i bite my lip

"last season you all had two solos ready to go before we ever started our competition season i didn't find out people weren't here until the choreographers called me say hey it was kinda hard to get a great number together when only two kids where there that makes me look bad!" and then she takes the rest of the headshots off the mirror

"no pyramid."

"Abby how can you throw away all that they worked for last year?" Holly asks

"like this." Abby says

"girls no pyramid." Abby throws the other headshots out

"this weekend we will be travelling to denvour colorado to attend intensity dance i want you to be the first to know that i'm gonna hold auditions i'm replacing Brooke and Paige and you will be nice and wonderful and kind to whoever the two people are." Abby says and then walks out

|Group Rehearsals|

"Kay so every minute that you have over the next two weeks better be working on these numbers." Abby says

Chloe raises her hand

"what's the solos this week?" Chloe asks

"Chloe you were the top of the pyramid, you were national winner the first week out you should be doing a solo you should be defending that title but i don't know if i'm gonna even do solos." Abby says

"don't ask me about the solos again i don't know what i'm doing"

"this is the group routine and you and you and you and Paige were demons" Abby points to Nia Kendall and Kenzie

"and you and you and you and Brooke were the angels so now Chloes the angel and you're all demons see how people not showing up effects you?" Abby says and shrugs

Abby teaches us the dance and yes it's nice but it seems like a spin off of mines and Maddies duet last year

"5,6,7 and piqué woo look down down up pretty" Abby says as Chloe dances

we do our part that we learnt

"you come in too soon you're there before they get there" Abby says to Maddie

"and you forget what to do you're like blanking on me you and you're not getting round her fast enough you should be around her before she's out on the floor" Abby says to Kendall
