this is my last week of not dancing but also our last week of being in LA ..so bittersweet
|Pyramid| "this is it the last week in LA for the time being alrighty we're going to do pyramid a little different" Abby says
"on the bottom of the pyramid we have Kayla, you didn't dance but this is your last week of no dancing so next week i expect big things"
i nod
"next we have JoJo, you didn't really stand out in the group routine"
"and Mackenzie, you haven't done to much here and you realise that right"
"moving on Nia, Kalani.. great work in the group i felt that you both stood out it was great the timing was good"
"moving up Kendall, you had your experience at the video shoot i thought it was awesome you elevated yourself now to a level with Maddie, Kayla and Mackenzie"
"and Maddie, Maddie you were the overall highscore winner you were also high score soloist of the entire day fabulous and it's every exciting Maddies performing at the Grammys"
we clap for Maddie

"so we have a lot of work to do today our first solo is going to Kendall" Abby says
we clap for Kendall
"we're going to keep that work ethic right through the week you will be doing a uh high energy jazz number entitled This Is Major..it's sassy it's hot and it's fast"
"and my last solo is going to JoJo"
we clap for JoJo
"it's called straighten up can you guess what you'll be wearing? it's what you wear when they lock you up"
"a straight jacket?" JoJo asks
"yup" Abby says
"wait so am i going to be dancing like" JoJo says
"the group routine is entitled Platinum perhaps Kendall's song will go Platinum" Abby says we clap
"Mackenzie you haven't been feeling well so you won't be dancing this week"
"oh welcome to the club" i say
couple of the girls laugh
"the competition this week is called Dance Kids USA and the competition is judged by kids." Abby says
we all make a face
and i look to Kenzie because that's a problem that we aren't dealing with this week
|Group Rehearsals| me and Kenzie watch the girls do the routine and it's pretty
for the whole rehearsal me and Kenzie just talk and do whatever because it's so boring not dancing so i'm glad Kenzie can be my entertainment this week.
|Competition| the last two days we boring me and Kenzie either sat in another room doing school or watching them rehearse then Nia had a video shoot and Abby was mad about it so
that's basically it
we arrive at the competition and we head to the dressing room
and Abby isn't here yet..
"Kenzie come here" i say
"what" she says
"can i do your makeup?" i ask
"why?" Kenzie asks
"because i am so bored" i say
"fine" Kenzie says
"yay" i smile and i take out my makeup and i start doing Kenzies markup
"where did you go?" Jess asks Holly
"just taking a phone call." Holly says
"everything okay?" Jess asks
"everything's great" Holly says
"close your eyes" i say and i start doing a natural eye look
Abby then enters the room
"hey hey" Abby says
"hi" we say
the soloists start getting ready
"pink or red lipstick..or you could have lipgloss" i ask
"lipgloss" Kenzie says
"okay." i say and i put clear lipgloss on Kenz
we then go to the audience for the solos and Kenzie sits on my lap
"gosh your heavy" i whisper
"shut up" Kenzie smiles
JoJo enters for her solo first
and it's so cool i think she looks great
JoJo finishes her routine and i cheer for her
Kendall enters next and her costume reminds me off Kenzies like band solo she did when she was younger
Kendall is absolutely nailing this solo though it's definitely her style
Kendall finishes her routine and exits the stage
we head back to the dressing room
and the girls get ready for the group routine
"i wanna be in the dance" Kenzie says
"i know..Kenz i'm sorry you're not in it i feel bad" mom says
"and.." i prompt
"and you Kayla." mom adds
"thank you" i smile
Kenzie laughs and she pulls out her phone and i watch whatever she's scrolling on
we head back to the audience
and the girls enter the stage and they look gorgeous
they are absolutely nailing thus routine
the girls finish the routine and i cheer for them
|Awards| for solos Kendall got fifth
and JoJo didn't place at all
and the group dance wins first!
me and Kenzie cheer so loud for the girls
we head back to the dressing room and Abby seems pleased about the group but not the solos obviously.
