The Other Soldier

CHAPTER 6 - LOST LOVER KIDNAPPED

      One night I woke up and heard loud alarms going off. I got out of bed to see what was going on. Suddenly I was knocked out from the back and put in a bag I'm pretty sure. When I woke up I was tied to a chair. When I look up and saw Bucky.

"Well well well look who it is. The infamous Winter Soldier" I saw with a smirk on my face. He came up to me and was one inch away from my face and kissed me.

"I've missed you so much River," he said, holding my chin up with his non-metal hand.

"Bucky, is it really you?" I said tears were forming in my eyes.

"River Talon Reign. My one and only. I love you always and forever" he said while untying me. Right when he finished untying me, I jumped onto him and kissed him. We kissed passionately for a good two minutes.

"I've missed you so much Bucky. I love you always and forever." and we just held each other. It was night time "Where are we?" I finally asked him.

"We're in my apartment," he said, kissing me on the forehead and walking towards what seemed like a kitchen.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm making us dinner love."

"Let me help you," I said with a smile following him into the kitchen.

We made pasta for dinner and talked. It was a little awkward because it felt like we were meeting each other for the first time. After dinner, I washed the dishes. Bucky came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I've missed you so much, doll," he said, kissing my neck.

"I've missed you too baby," I said, finishing the last dish.

I turned around and kissed him. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around him and he carried me into his room. There wasn't much in his apartment. Just a small kitchen and living room a shower and one bedroom and a double size bed on the floor with two pillows and a blanket.

He laid me on the bed and got on top of me and took off my shirt. I turned him over so I was on top of him now. I kissed him and started to undo his belt and jeans.

"I've been waiting for you for such a long time, River," he said and then we started doing it.

I haven't gotten laid in a year. I only got laid because of missions I was on, but I don't remember any of them. Doing it with Bucky felt so good. His body against mine.

"Harder!"

"You sure, doll? "

"I've been waiting for you for decades. What do you think, my answer is Sergeant Barnes?" I said, smiling at him.

"Your wish is my command doll," he said and we went on for a while.

We both were out of breath by the end of it. We cuddled each other the rest of the night and fell asleep.

I woke up to the smell of bacon. I wore one of Bucky's shirts. It was pretty big on me, but what the hell it was comfy and I didn't get any nightmares that night for the first time. I walked into the kitchen to see Bucky getting a plate ready. I went up behind him and hugged him tightly around the waist.

"Good morning to you too, doll."

"Morning."

"Made you breakfast. Bacon, scrambled eggs, toast, and a cup of tea just how you like it."

"Thank you, my love," I said, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

We just sat and ate in silence. After we finished eating Bucky washed the dishes and I went to go get dressed, but I didn't have clothes, besides what I wore last night when he kidnapped me. I just put on the jeans I found in his room, put that on, found a cap, and threw it on.

"Doll, are you ready?" he called out from the kitchen.

"Yup!"

"Come on let's go get you some clothes," he said as we started walking out of his apartment.

We walked around the city, lay low, and paid everything in cash, and since we didn't have a phone no one could track or contact us. I picked up some undergarments, shirts, and pants. Bucky wanted to go to the supermarket so we went together. We picked up some pasta, frozen pizza, and apples. Bucky wanted to get plums, but they weren't going to get shipped until next week. So we just bought whatever we had, picked up a magazine for me, and went back to his apartment.

The next few days were the best days I've had in a long time. Being with Bucky brought back so many good memories. I felt whole again and happy for the first time in decades.
