CHAPTER 33 - IT'S SO CLEAR

After dinner, we all went to the bar.  The boys were looking for a table and me and the girls were at the bar getting drinks for everyone.  As we were waiting, "River stop saying you hate the man and make a move!" Nat said.

"Okay."

At this point, I was getting tired of everybody pestering me to ask Bucky out and hook up with him. The drinks were done and we took one tray each and went to look for the others.  

"Let's go dance!" the girls said. Pepper took Tony's hand, Nat took Bruce's and Wanda took Steve's.

"I'll join you later."

I just sat there in the booth.  Sam and Bucky were at the bar but came back after shortly.

"River go dance I'll stay here," Sam said.

"Lady River, may I have this dance?" Thor asked.

"Sure why not I have nothing better to do anyways. Let's go" I told Thor and took his hand and we went to the dance floor.

Bucky's POV:

When I saw Thor take River's hand I felt this wave of rage and jealousy come over me. This has never happened to me before. But why now? I just want her all to myself and no other guy can touch or look at her. Just watching her dancing close to Thor made me enraged that I accidentally broke my glass.

"You good, Buck?" Sam asked me.

"Huh, yeah I'm fine. Why?"

"You just broke your glass. What's wrong? You know you can talk to me. Is it River dancing with someone else and you're the one that's not dancing with her?"

"How did you know?"

"It's obvious my man. Just get her before it's too late.  Thor's got his eye on her and he's already moved a piece on the chess board and you're still in the same spot."

I just kept watching them dance and get closer and closer by the second. I couldn't handle it anymore and got up.

"That's it. I'm breaking them up!"

"WOOO HOOO!!! THAT'S MY BOY RIGHT THERE!" Sam howled cheering me on. 

I think he was more excited than me.

Your POV:

As I was dancing with Thor I heard someone call my name. I turned around to see Bucky.

"Hey, can I talk to you?" he said.

"Yeah sure, Thor thanks this was fun, but I'm done dancing for now."

"You are most very welcome," Thor said, taking my hand and then kissing it.

Bucky then grabbed my arm and we walked into the hallway.

"What was that? What was so important that you grabbed my arm and dragged me-"

Before I could finish my sentence Bucky kissed me and I kissed him back. A few minutes later he pulled away to speak.
