Peter and I fell asleep while watching Christmas movies. We finished 'Elf' and decided to just have a Christmas movie marathon. When we got to our third movie we fell asleep. Suddenly my phone pings, Peter was laying on me and I didn't want to wake him up. I took a picture of him sleeping and went to see who sent me a message. It was a text from the matchmaker and she found a guy for me. She described the guy and she thinks that's a match for me.

"James. 5'9. Dark brown hair and blue eyes. I like trying new foods and love cats. I enjoy going on long walks and watching the sunset.

Loyal

Loving"

I agreed to talk to James and James agreed to talk to me, as well. The matchmaker gave me his numbers.

"Hey there, I'm Talon. What's your name?"

"Hi, my name is James. How are you?"

"I'm good and you?"

"I'm good, just a little nervous, never done something like this before"

"Same here, never done this before, but the description the matchmaker gave me you seem like a nice person"

"Thanks, you as well"

"So why did you decide to go with a matchmaker and not a regular dating app?"

"My friends forced me to do it. They said I need to get back out there."

"Same here"

"So how's your week been?"

"It's been okay Ig"

"Is everything okay? I know we just started talking like five minutes ago, but if you need someone to talk to I'm here"

"Ig everything's been changing for me. I lost my memory in an accident and I just moved to a new place. It's been overwhelming"

"If you need anything you can always talk to me"

"Thx James"

"Anytime doll"

Both Bucky and I didn't have each other's numbers so we didn't know it was each other. Peter woke up and we went to the kitchen. I was texting James and didn't realize Nat, Wanda and Sam were talking to me.

"Earth to River," Nat said.

"Hello River? Are you okay?" Wanda asked, concerned.

"Huh, what yeah I'm fine why?"

"You were on your phone and ignoring us," Nat said.

"Oh I was sorry, I was texting someone."

"Is it a boy?" Wanda asks with a smirk.

"Maybe..." I tried to hold back my smile, but I failed miserably.

"GIRL! WHAT'S HIS NAME?!?!?" Na said out loud.

"Shhhh. keep your voice down."

"Did you match with anyone yet?" Wanda asked.

Sam came in and wacked Wanda over the head with the newspaper he was holding.

"BITCH THAT IS THE GUY SHE MATCHED WITH!" Sam said

Nat and I just burst out laughing. I got a text from James. We texted for a while before I fell asleep. We had a lot in common. We both had a younger sibling. We both liked trying new foods, an animal long walks, and watching sunsets. We both hated people who walked and drove slowly, people who are dishonest people who don't clean up after themselves.

After a week of talking, James called me. It was strange but I guess we have been talking for a while and it'd be nice to know what his voice sounded like. I picked it up, it was late around 11 p.m.

"Hello?"

"Hi sorry about that. I didn't mean to call you my finger slipped-"

"It's okay. It's nice to hear your voice finally. You have a really calm voice it's relaxing"

"Thank you. You have a nice voice too. Sorry, I've never done something like this before and I didn't mean to call you like that"

"It's okay, James. Kinda happy you called now, I know you're a real person"

"I'm happy to know your real too."

We talked until 12 a.m. and decided to end the call because it was late. From that day on you guys texted and called all the time.

That night I had a dream about Bucky.  We were together in a hotel I wanna say.  We were doing it, a wet dream.  It wasn't my first one about him, but this one felt so real that I woke up.  I looked around the room and I was in my room it was just a silly dream.  I went back to sleep and had a nightmare.  I rather have a wet dream than a nightmare.  Wouldn't you?  That dream was stuck in my head. I wrote it down in my dream journal and tried not to think about it.
