Chris' pov

Everyone hugged both myself and Ava congratulating us on our soon to be new arrival.

I'm so excited to be a dad.

Scott hugged me and whispered "I knew it" in my ear before he hugged Ava.

The rest of the evening was spent in the lounge playing board games and having a couple of drinks. As I finish my beer I realise that Ava's dosed off against one of the couch cushions. Not long after everyone decided to call it a night, I grab the big fluffy blanket and carry Ava to bed. It was getting colder now, laying the blanket on the bed first I help Ava out of her clothes and into some fluffy pyjamas. Her top was hardly covering the bump now and i've never been prouder of someone I haven't even met yet.

Ava's pov

The following morning I wake up wrapped in Chris' arms in my favourite pyjamas, I must of passed out last night - I was exhausted.

I get up for the bathroom before making my way to the kitchen and starting breakfast for the rest of the family who were still asleep.

I hear little pitter patter of bare feet on the wooden floor and Chris' niece appears rubbing her eyes. I smile at her as she approaches reaching her arms out for me. I lift her up and she instantly snuggles her head into my neck, wrapping her arms around me she plays with my long blonde locks and not even five minutes later she was asleep again.

I'm stand for a minute gently rubbing her back enjoying the aunty snuggles. I head towards the livingroom to lay the little sleepy head down meeting Chris half way. He grins at me as he helps carry the little girl to the couch wrapping her in a blanket before Dodger jumps up beside her, snuggling in.

"Morning" he says as he kisses my hair

"Good morning handsome"

"I was wondering, if you'd be up for going to Disney today with us? I know you can't ride anything and if you don't want to that's no problem. We've made it a tradition to go each year after Thanksgiving"

"I'd love to go! After breakfast i'll get showered and ready to go".

Just before Noon everyone apart from myself and Chris had went to Disney early, I get in the shower and spend longer than I usually would in there letting the warm water relax my aching body. Once out the shower I get ready and blow dry my hair, Chris was tidying up when I left him. I put on my white fluffy spirit jersey and some leggings before grabbing my Nike trainers which Chris would need to help put on me.

I wander into the lounge where it's covered in Red Rose petals and Chris is stood in a black suit with a dozen Roses. I look confused at the effort he's made, it wasn't my birthday or our anniversary was it?

Chris puts his hand out for mine and I take it as he places the roses on the side table.

"Ava, I love you so much and you've made me the happiest man in the world. I know you're going to be the best mummy to our little girl and of course, Dodge. I want to take care of you both and seeing as our little one will have Evans as her last name... I wanted you to have it as well.

Ava, will you marry me?".

Chris gets down on one knee opening up a red velvet box with the most beautiful ring inside.

I stand in utter shock, there was no indication that Chris was going to propose. Tears fall down my face and I nod my head frantically as Chris places the ring on my finger and stands up pulling me into a tight hug.

"Is that a yes?" He laughs

"Yes!" I sob.

An hour had passed and we had arrived at Disney to meet up with the family, of course Chris had changed out of his suit into something more comfortable. We both couldn't keep our hands off each other, we were like teenagers in love.

I couldn't wait to tell everyone but especially Scott who's grown to not only be my brother in law but my bestfriend.

We finally catch up to the family and I show off my ring to everyone who starts to cheer.

Scott pulls me into a tight hug whilst whopping making me laugh.
