Felarya's Nightmare

Chapter 20 - The plan

            After that night of nightmares and when the first rays of sunlight entered through the window, he woke up his friends and said that they should get up quickly and leave that place as soon as possible. Nixa, the voice of reason spoke: "okay smart guy, where are we going? We're in the middle of the "nest" of these giants. Where do you think we can go that's safe?". Richard gets a look of helplessness because, rude or not, Nixa was right.
            The giant wakes up and sees everyone gathered there and asks: "What are you doing at this time of the morning?" and notices the cloth that Richard covered his friends and says: "aahh, that's cool! You found the Invisible Cloak, that's great" and his friends looked at Richard and gave him a confused look wanting some explanation and he didn't want there to be more trouble because of lies and he also didn't know if he could trust the giantess after hearing what that fairy said, he was at war with himself.

            So he took his friends aside and explained the situation, completing at the end that for them to know more things, they should tell her the truth, because if they lied, it would be worse because she could find out and just leave them to those giants powerful creatures. After a lot of talking, they managed to connect some dots, but it was just theory, because if it really was what they imagined, they could work around the situation and take advantage of it. So what they thought happened to the giant was the following: The giant must have had some problems in the past, for example, at birth she was not accepted by the creatures around her due to something, maybe she was born without powers, maybe she was born with human appearance, perhaps she was born very kind and the other creatures felt that, but what matters is that from what they imagine, the creatures in this place do not accept the giant as part of their society and so they leave her aside and for lack of company, the giant might help humans or smaller creatures not to be devoured by their own species. And unfortunately in some of these attempts, she must have failed to protect these creatures/humans and therefore she is in isolation.

            The giant interrupts the meeting saying: Hey! I also want to participate! Oh, sorry I didn't introduce myself to you, I'm Divirtus Ridiculos, but you better call me Div... I don't really like my birth name for obvious reasons. And then everyone looked at each other in a strange way but they gave a smile and Pita the fairy spoke to Div: S-So lady... would you know any place safer than this? I don't know if I feel safe here, I know we have you, but we are very close to their home in that tree... Do you know where there would be a safe place?

            Div: "Well, I do, but it's hard to be sure..."
            Vigara: "Hey, but why?"
            Div: "They... don't leave me alone, there's always one of them watching me... I feel them doing that, looking at me from different places... I'm afraid of them. Their eyes shining... I don't like it than they carry..."

            And then she starts to get really cowering with fear and Richard interrupts seeing that the subject of the giantesses with her is very sensitive and says: "Okay, that's cool, we have to figure out some safe way to get out without being followed..." and then After thinking a little and looking around, Richard sees the Cloak of Invisibility and asks Div what it is and she replies: "Well, it's not an invisibility cloak, this cloth is magical and makes creatures that sense others surrounding creatures don't feel what's under that cloth. I found this in a very old fairy temple but not one for my size and well, that to me is just one cloth."

            Richard: "And why couldn't you get more of those?"
            Div: "Well... it's because like I said, they were watching me and they started kicking, biting and scratching me when I found this cloth as if I had done something wrong. And then I think I became unconscious and woke up here... . with the cloth."
            Richard: "hum..."
            Idril: "Guys, we can do the following: We'll go to that temple again, let Div better explore its interior and get more of these cloaks for us and someone will be at the front entrance taking care of it, I think it's better to leave one of us more powerful at the front and one with Div. Nixa, go with Div while Richard and I stay at the front entrance?"
            Nixa: "Fine by me."
            Idril: "Lis, Vigara and Pita, you'll stay with Div. Is that okay with you?"
            Lis: "I'll do my best!"
            Viagra: "Leave it to me!"
            Pitta: "Yes!"
            Lis: "Hey, but what if it goes wrong? We have to have a plan to get out of there fast! We need something that gives some signal or something to communicate with."
            Idril: "Really... Do you have something like that?"
            Lis starts rummaging in her bag and takes out what looks like a kind of horn made from the horn of some animal and explains: "I use this here to distract from some things and also to escape from certain situations, just wait, let me adjust it here. .. and that's it! I just need a strand of hair from each one" and after removing the strand of hair from each one, she puts the strands inside the horn and a glow comes out of the hole and then she says: Well, now that's it ready. When I sound the horn, only whoever I put a hair in here will hear the horn, that is, it will not alert other creatures to the position where the horn is or that they will know that we have been detected or that we are fleeing." and everyone looks at her in amazement and she says, "What's up guys? I know how to take care of myself too, right?".
            Idril: "Well, we already have our emergency escape plan. If we need to fight, we'll have-" Idril's plan is abruptly interrupted by Richard's scream: "AAAHHHHH FUCKING HELL, I'M ON FIRE, SHIT, WHAT THE FUCK!" and everyone goes to his aid: "Hey! Hey! Hey! What's up??" and he replies with his hand already extinguished: "Ah.. I don't know, wow, that burned. I think my firepower got more intense all of a sudden." and then Div says: "Aahh... do you have powers? I forgot to mention that outside the city and places like that, the powers get much more intense. So be careful."
            Richard: "ah... thanks for letting me know now... I'm much better, I just hope no one or nothing heard my scream."
            Idril: "Phew... wow, I thought they found us, well, let's go? Div, you know where it is, right?"
            Div: "Like the back of my hand! But first I have to put you inside this bag. I made it with the fabric of that cloth. So at least you'll be safe."

            Everyone entered the bag with their things and when they entered, they noticed that it was very spacious and even had a part of the bag with the thinnest fabric, as if it were a window where you could see things from outside and then Div started to leave slowly from her house and already noticed the eyes turning to her. She started to get very nervous but still continued... with fear but continued her journey.
