Felarya's Nightmare

Chapter 18 - The sect

            Richard enters and is greeted by people wearing the same clothes as the one who invited him, all of them lined up on each side and leaving a passage for Richard to pass as if they were already waiting for him.

            It was a hut and people were lined up on a staircase that led to somewhere underground, after walking for a long time with each step being accompanied by the mysterious gazes of the hooded people, his senses began to go into full alert mode, the adrenaline started to rise, as if suddenly anyone could jump and attack him from any side.

            A light invades the underground corridor in which Richard was walking and blinds him briefly, with him putting his right arm in front of the light source and when his eyes got used to the lighting, he noticed a huge underground hall, with several people around, like if it was a trial. He continues his descent to the center of said judgment, and in the middle of his descent, a strong voice says: "Stop!" and at that moment the back door closes, making a noise that echoes throughout the hall and then the voice speaks again: "Continue to the center" and Richard did so.

            As soon as he got to the center, he saw a type of pulpit (types of table that are in temples, churches, political events and etc to proclaim something) and settled there and then someone with the same style as the clothes of the others, but the robe was more detailed, with more adornments, which made him look like an important figure, standing out from the others, he walks on a platform higher than Richard and says: "Richard Anthony... It's been a long time since I had to gather a judgment of this size to one person... last time was when... well, I don't need to say this, I just want to know what you want in our town?"

"I will only say something if my friends are here with me and well" - Richard exclaims.

"You're going to say something, because if you don't... your friends won't even be doing well to begin with so you might as well start talking." - Answers the figure resting his hands firmly on the platform in a sign of anger.

            Richard with no other way out, surrounded by dozens of people and not sure of the whereabouts of his friends, he says: "I didn't come here of my own free will, I was pulled by a force majeure, I'm not even part of this place" and then the voice screams: - "LIAR! BLASPHEMATOR! HOW DARE YOU LIE IN THIS HOLY PLACE? The human species... is a disease, a virus that infests and kills everything it sees ahead, regardless of where it is and expects me to believe that you just don't know why you're here? Are you making fun of us?" and then the figure removes the hood and Richard sees that they were not human... It was a fairy and so all the others remove their hoods, revealing their fairy faces and wings. Then Richard realizes that that central figure might have been the one who visited the man in the tavern the other night but he wasn't sure.

            "Finally...we have you in our hands but now you look so...ridiculous, so useless...I'm disappointed. Guards! Take him to the Feeder" and then the lectern released a handcuff that latched onto his wrists Richard, leaving him trapped and weak.

           It was when two hooded people took him by the arms and dragged him to another large hall where screams and noises of magic could be heard, as if they were portals opening, Richard was confused because of the handcuffs and his eyes were a little open, managing to see a door where behind it it shone several times, as if it were pulsing and with each pulsation, screams and noises were heard.

            The two men opened the heavy door and then voices started screaming for Richard's name... He heard them and recognized at the time that it was his friends calling him and before he was thrown into the cage with them, the guards threw him to the ground and they begin to give kicks to his face and body, Richard almost unconscious, he didn't feel the blows right and so they dragged him into the cage with his friends.

            And while Richard's friends tried to take the cuffs off him, their cage moved to a place where portals opened and giant hands appeared and pulled the cages, as if they would never come back.

           The portals were being created by two pillars that pulsed pure magic with purple crystals and then their cage reached the "slaughter" point. There was a strange silence in the air, as if the pulsations had stopped out of nowhere, there was a chatter among the guards and then a portal started to open abnormally, the crystals started to rattle and then two giant hands came out at full speed from the portal, grabbing the cage so hard that it ends up bending some iron bars and then they are pulled so violently that some even hit their heads, the handcuff that held Richard's hands opens and is destroyed and when they look around, they are in a forest relatively beautiful, very flowery and full of life and then they look up and see a giant woman, she was about 12 meters tall looking at them with a curious and interested look.

           The giant woman takes the cage lifiting up and stand tall and then she opens her huge mouth and bites the cage, ripping and tearing the bars like they were toothpicks and then the cage falls to the ground with great force, the roof of the cage is removed very easily by the giant and then she takes Richard first and approaches his face and then Richard becomes conscious again and sees that image again... close to death.
