Felarya's Nightmare

Chapter 4 - Beyond my universe

After a little while thinking about the infinite possibilities and almost completely freaking out with the situation that Richard (a nerd, weeb and gamer) never imagined happening, happened. He had to control himself and think a little more calmly, so he took advantage of that wild boar meat that with some salted ore that worked as a table salt, drying the meat and conserving it, like the classic "Charque" from Rio Grande do Sul (a state from Brazil and it tastes quite good) and as he heated up in the small hidden fire, he became thoughtful:

"It's ok... Calm down Richard, you can't despair like that, because if you don't, you'll be like that guy there, all chewed up with madness (he tries to be funny to lessen the nervousness)". *Waited for the meat to be ready and when it was, he took it to his mouth and it tasted really salty, he thought he had put too much salt, but he had to eat, it was the only thing there, but at least he had gotten some water from a plant that he had plenty of water in reserve- and began to rethink what had happened days before he stopped here; Before he was "Teleported", he was feeling some weird tugging that wasn't physical but felt like it was, and then he felt it again just before he started working, so when he woke up, is he in Felarya?"

It still didn't enter Richard's mind that he could be in another universe, a trip between parallel realities is almost impossible, even more so a trip between multiverses. Everything that we imagine really exists, what we read exists, what we think exists, which causes infinite multiverses, infinite modes of nature and how it works in each of these universes and which has a very interesting theory, which doesn't make much sense scientific, but it is unquestionable in the same way that, our dreams are actually us visiting either a parallel universe or a multiverse, as a "meeting of realities and universes".

But... for him to come here, the two sides would have to act together (or if it was just one side, it would have to be something extremely powerful), exactly in the shortest possible time, his exact location on planet Earth in the exact time etc. A lot of things and besides, if we ran over all that, it would still have the problems of adapting to a new kind of universe with another nature, like Felarya.... So Felarya really always existed and someone or something managed to get Richard out of his own universe and put him on this one, this planet... But how? If to simply warp spacetime (which could create a sort of "hole" between the walls separating parallel realities) it can't be that strong to warp the spacetime of our multiverse... technology to do such a thing. And why him? Was he a guinea pig to test this technology?

To improve understanding and make it simpler, it is as if you were on a train and you were used to its speed always inside a tunnel where there would probably be many others beside you, above you and below, for all times. directions leading to many places, but that all these paths lead only to one city, but at several points in it, this was Richard's reality that he was used to and then someone or something out of nowhere just pulled him onto another train, with another speed, with another look, with a completely different tunnel than the one he was used to. Leaving him completely lost and desperate in that new reality.

But he had to get out of there... He had to go to a safer place and try to think some more, that place would be the last thing he should think about, so he took a stone that had magnetic properties (literally a magnet), the placed it on top of a very large leaf and placed it on top of the water (in a puddle of water that was nearby), if electromagnetism worked like on Earth (or in its universe), the tip of the leaf would point to what would be considered the North (he really hoped that the spells of that place wouldn't interfere too much with the magnetic poles of that planet), so he did and saw that the North was directed to the opposite side of the entrance of his tree.

Knowing where the North was, he'd have to remember Felarya's map (he remembered it very vaguely, because he'd only seen the slightest thing about this world) and he knew there was a big city, more of a metropolis. It was located behind a very long and wide river, and it was also close to some forest, the problem was whether it was a few meters or several kilometers away. For that, Richard tried to climb his tree, (he climbed from branch to branch and also in certain holes left by a type of woodpecker species) and very carefully knowing what could lurk (or not). From her, she looked around and the view looked like it came straight from a painting by the best artist of the Renaissance Period, you could see the horizon, all the forests and incredibly well separated biomes, as if they had been delimited with a lawn mower.

But he couldn't be fooled by the incredible view of the place, he had to find the city. Your luck that most kingdoms in medieval times (or in that style), are built on hills or are very high with some imposing tower showing the power of the metropolis and well, he found, a simply gigantic city that seemed to be on top of a small mountain, probably 500 or 600 meters from its current location with huge walls. Bigger than that woman, MUCH BIGGER. It was a matter of time before he was devoured by one of these gigantic races, so they hurried down from the tree, packed his things and started heading towards the imposing city with a backpack of leaves and some branches, he would be able to think better when he got there.
