I locked the car with my keys and put them in my backpack. I walked towards the school building and opened the large class door.

Which were so very welcoming.

My locker was a little bit further from the doors, and even though the building had lost of exits and entering doors, none of them were near my locker.

Which was a bummer, because they should have one at the end of every hallway.

Unless, they want us to loose 5 pounds at the end of every week.

And I secretly sometimes think they do. I entered the code for the locker and it opened with a click. I pulled it open wider and let out a sigh.

I place all my stuff inside, and gathered what I needed for the first two periods. "Hey Everleigh!" I jumped back and looked where the voice came from.

I let out a sigh of relief when I noticed it was someone who wasn't annoying right now. "Hey, what are you doing here?"

"Well, after what happened the other day, Noah came up to me, and he apologized." She said. She rubbed her palm against her stomach and sighed. "But there is one problem."

I raised my eyebrows. "What was that?"

"He didn't say anything about taking care of the baby. I didn't really care about the apology but I wanted him to be in this with me."

I don't understand why she would want to be in a relationship again with someone who has just hurt her so much. She should just leave him alone, and find someone else wo cares about her.

I didn't want to tell her that though, she might take it in the wrong way and I really wanted to help her. But I couldn't.

I'm not a counselor or some therapist that could help her with this stuff, but I didn't want to let her down. "I can't help you." I said.

" I seriously don't know what to do and if you really want Noah to take care your baby then you should talk to him."

----

I rolled my eyes and rubbed my forehead.

It was finally the last class of the day, but Mrs. Balthazar kept rambling on and on about how se couldn't find her shampoo in the morning.

If she had nothing to teach, she could at least dismiss us early.

Oh right! She had to follow the rules

I slammed my forehead against the desk at least 4 times in a row.

"Ms. Emerson?" She called out, "Are you alright?" The whole class turned towards me and I nodded my head. "Yes Mrs. Balthazar." I said.

She smiled at me and started again. "You know, the body wash was also missing, but then I remembered I packed that for my trip." She laughed to herself and looked back at the class. "I'm so silly." She sighed.

After the bell rang and everyone got their bags including me I walked out of the class and made my way towards my locker. "Hey Everleigh!"

I turned around and looked back at the tall figure standing in front of me.

What does he want now?

"What?" I groaned. He scratched the back of his head and looked back at me. "Your brave." He said, "You have guts, to slap me, to expose Carson." He said. He looked off to the side, and really did look impressed.

He put a hand on my shoulder. "I'll see you tomorrow, Emerson."

He made me feel an awkward way.

My knees started to feel weak, and when he was talking I could barely open my mouth.

I stared back at Connor as he walked away from me, and then disappearing into the crowd.

It is a bit of a shorter chapter and is kind of a filler, so that is why there really wasn't much to add. But because it was a filler chapter and short I promise to update earlier.
