I tried to block my ears from the annoying voice of the teacher in front of me.
Her old creaking voice just rambling about... I actually have no clue.
Because I am not paying attention. The bell rang and it was finally time to go. As I walked towards my locker , I saw a mad Noah standing there.
"Seriously Eve?" He asked. I raised my eyebrows because I don't know what he is talking about. "Right after you break up with me, literally the next day, you move on?" He questioned.
I slowly nodded my head. "And that too. With Connor?"
He flipped his phone over and I saw the image on his screen.
It was a picture I posted the other night, with me and Connor in it.
Connor looking absolutely bored, and me looking drunk. Because I was.
"Besides, isn't that what you did to the girl who you got pregnant. I bet you don't even know her name." I said.
"Do you?"
"I wasn't the one who got her pregnant." I said back. He rolled his eyes at me, but I copied his actions which made him mad.
"What do you want Eve?" He asked.
"I told you to stop calling me Eve, and I want you to stop bothering me." He took a deep breath. "I still love you."
"Yeah? Well I don't, so go find another girl to say that too."
"Just so that you can say it to Connor?" He waited for my response. "Y-yes." I said confidently.
Confidently doesn't mean stuttering.
He scoffed and then looked back at me. "I bet he'll take you on a first date, probably take your virginity, and then dump you. Because that is just the player he is."
"Isn't that what you were going to do?" I asked.
I stared at him drop dead in the eye. If looks could kill he'd be long gone by now.
Rest In Peace Buddy.
"W-why would you think that?"
"Because that is just the player you are." I said, mimicking him from earlier.
He showed me the look of pure rage.
"I am not going to let you go so easily, Emerson."
Why does everybody love saying my last name? It's not even fun to say. Emerson.
"Talk about toxic ex." I slightly jumped and looked back. It's never tiring looking at his face.
Connor.
"Talk about obsessed."
