When I opened my eyes, the room that surrounded me looked different.
The walls were painted blue and the furniture was a dull grey color.
The windows were open, letting in the beautiful morning sunlight. I turned my head to the right to see the nightstand. There was a lamp placed towards the corner, and a clock right next to it. But, what caught my sight was the picture frame next to them. Connor. I slightly jumped, but I couldn't do it properly because I also realized I was in bed. "I see your awake."
I turned around to the deep voice. "Connor." I said with gritted teeth. He smirked, "I see you have recognized me."
I gave him a fake smile and sat up a little bit.
"Where am I?" Although I could already probably tell where I was. "And what am I doing here?" I asked. He smirked again, because he just can't get enough of it.
"Well, you were just dying for it..." I raised my eyebrows, and widened my eyes. "I what??" I yelled. "Chill, woman. I went slow, you did mention it was your first time." He said.
I knew he was tricking me, I knew I would never do such a thing. In my sense or not. But again, it was my first time getting drunk, so I wouldn't really know anything.
"I t-told you it was my first time?" I asked. Although me and Noah were together for quite some time, I always tried to keep my distance with him.
He did try plenty of times. And throughout the time we were together, till now, I don't trust him. He would have probably dumped me the next day. "You did say that, unless, it wasn't and you were just trying to play games with me." He smirked. I groaned and tried to lightly pull my hair out of its resting scalp. "You were very feisty, "He whispered.
"I'm this close to slapping you, did we or did we not. Be honest." I said. He held his hands up in surrender. "Woah, woah, woman I was joking." He said. "You did fall for it though, didn't you?" I pulled the covers off but then quickly pulled them back up when I realized what I was wearing. "Where did my dress go?" I asked. "You got hot in the night, so you pulled it off. You were about to strip completely but I stopped you. Be thankful for that." He said.
"Where is it though?" He pointed towards the corner of the room where my dress was carelessly thrown. "Can you give it to me?" I asked, trying to be as nice as possible so that he might actually do me a favor and give it. He groaned and got up from the desk chair and walked to the corner of the room. He handed it to me, but I stared a his hand.
"Do you mind me asking one more question?" I asked biting my lip. I saw his eyes go to them but then quickly looked away. "Where did you sleep?" "I slept in the guestroom." I internally sighed with relief, since we at least didn't sleep together.
I grabbed the dress from his hands and mumbled a quick thank you. When he left the room, I put the dress on. I got out of the bed, and right across was his desk. I walked towards it and saw many family pictures, and memories. I picked up a picture frame of when he was little, about 10 or 11. "You done?" He asked. I quickly turned around and saw him peeking through the door. "Umm.. yeah." I quickly put it back and followed him out the door.
When we entered the main living room, I saw how big his house was, with all the expensive looking furniture. There was a huge chandelier that came out of the ceiling from the exact middle of the house. The kitchen had white cabinets with marble counters and flooring. Over all the home was just absolutely breathtaking. "You can stop drooling." He said, completely bored at me staring at his house in awe. "It's beautiful!" I said.
"Yeah. My mother's work. I'll drop you home." I followed him out the front door, and the front of the home was even prettier. The plants were perfectly shaped, and the roses stood out as if they were there just to make the home more welcoming. Connor was already sitting in the car and I almost forgot about him again.
"The outside's really pretty too." I said. "Thank you. Also my mother." He started the car and I told him the address. Then we were headed out on the road. I opened my phone to check my texts and I saw a lot from Caitlyn. Asking about where I was because apparently she went to my home this morning and Brooklynne told her I didn't come back from the party.
So she was worried and mad. Mad because I didn't tell er about the party. And worried because I hadn't came back.
