8- Meeting The Winglet

The Skywing that was in the front row all the way to the left shifted in her seat and started talking.

"Erm we should just go down the rows left to right. I'm Phoenix. I'm a Skywing, I just have the ability of fire, and I like flying!" Phoenix started bumping the side of Firefly who was sitting to their right.

"Oof. Oh right ok. Hey everyone I'm Firefly Starflight and Fatespeakers dragonet, a Nightwing, I can see the future no mind reading. And I like to read!" She said happily looking over to the Rainwing who was very happy according to their scales.

"I'm Leopard! I'm a Rainwing. I can shoot venom from my fangs and turn my scales into any color, and I like coloring!" He exclaimed barely seeming to be able to sit still.

Auklet who was sitting next to him, then started.

"I'm Auklet the youngest of Queen Corals 3 daughters. I'm a Seawing..." she paused for some reason then continued, "I can just breathe underwater like all Seawings, and I love going pearl collecting."

The Leafwing was next.

"Hi everyone nice to meet you. I'm Walnut. I'm a Leafwing, I have a very powerful Leafspeak, and I like tending to plants." Walnut said very calmly.

Next was Honeybee.

"Hi! I'm Honeybee, Bumblebee's sister Blue and Cricket's second daughter! I'm just staying here temporarily. I'm a Silkwing-Hivewing hybrid, I have normal Silk and the Hivewing stingers on my wrists and one on my tail! Oh! and I love reading to!" She said the last part while shooting Firefly a friendly grin.

Firefly sent her one back as Bumblebee started talking.

"Hellooooo I'm Bumblebee. Honeybee's older sister. Blue and Cricket adopted me back when they were still on Pantala, I'm a Hivewing, I can paralyze dragons and animals by biting them, and I love to hunt." Bumblebee stated proudly.

Honeybee who was beside her grumbled something about Bumblebee only being older then her by barely a year before she was spoken over by Boa.

"Hi everyone I'm Boa. I'm a Sandwing, I can breathe fire and have the Sandwing tail stinger, anddddd I likeeeee making music?" Boa said slightly unsure at the end.

Apollo started talking as soon as Boa was done.

"Hi! I'm Apollo! I'm a Silkwing, I can shoot normal silk, and I Love silk spinning!" Apollo rambled happily.

I sighed as the room went quite and I realized I was next.

"Hi... I'm Yucca a Silkwing-Hivewing-Sandwing hybrid. I can Breathe fire, I have Flamesilk, the Hivewing stingers on my wrists, and the Sandwing tail barb. I like to hunt." I mumbled loud enough to hear.

The Mudwing next to me seemed a little surprised it was his turn as if he hadn't been paying attention but went anyway.

"Hey everyone I'm Badger, I'm a Mudwing, I can breathe fire if I'm warm enough, and I like to hang out with my brothers and sisters."

Tsunami grunted and sat up.

"Ok thats everyone now we can start my small group discussions how I usually do..." Tsunami said while pulling out a large bowl of fish and a slightly smaller but still big bowl of fruit out from behind some vines.

"Go ahead and talk amongst yourselves and feel free to grab a snack!" Tsunami explained happily gesturing to the two bowls.

A few of the dragons who seemed to know eachother started to make small discussion. Badger got up and walked over to Phoenix and started asking them what Nightwings they thought had powers.

Firefly walked over to them and joined seeming happy to fill them in. Leopard walked over to the fruit and grabbed a large handful of berries.

Apollo walked over to Walnut and asked them about Pantala since he had never been there himself. Walnut who explained that she had been born there was more then happy to tell him about it.

Bumblebee started asking Honeybee similar questions since she hadn't been to Pantala since she hatched there meaning, she only had a few blury memories.

Leopard looked like he just wanted comfy with just his fruit and Boa had joined in the conversation with Badger, Phoenix, and Firefly.

I just sat there awkwardly not sure what conversations to join or start. That was, until Auklet walked over to me and plopped herself infront of my seat.

"... Do youuu.. need something..?" I asked unsure of my words.

Auklet gave me an odd stare before answering.

"Aren't you going to talk to anybody?" She asked.

I shruged and told her the truth.

"I dunno what to talk about."

"Mmmm.... what do you think about the other tribes I mean you a hybrid from three of them so you probably think differently about them." She explained with a smile.

I sighed and mumbled my response.

"I think all the dragons saying their tribe is better then the other tribes is stupid because while your powers may give you an advantage over some of the tribes theirs always another tribe who can overpower you and another tribe who can beat them. It's literally a never ending circle."

She hummed in thought.

"That makes sense and there's Animus's one of my sisters and one of my brothers are both Animus's. Their powers stopped working a little while ago but apparently the dragon Animus who cast that spell only removed the powers of the known Animus's. You know like the ones who knew they had powers." She had an odd tone in her voice as she talked about this.

"Hmmm well I guess that would make sense you have to be very specific with Animus spells. She probably named off all the Animus's she knew about and removed their powers from them." I responded deciding not to question hiw she knew that.

One of her other siblings is probably an animus and didn't know about it until recently. If that were the case she probably wouldn't go around shouting "oh this brother of mine is an animus who can use his powers!"

Once the conversations had died down and mostly come to a stop Tsunami started to speak again.
