Ain't No Way.

Jay's POV:

"This my girl Jay... this my homie Sabrina." Chris said as she hugged me while we were being introduced.

"It's nice to meet you Jay. I'm glad y'all could make it out. We finna have some funnnn." She said in an excited manner that caused me to smile.

I felt Chris grab my hand in his. He locked our fingers as he started engaging with her playfully.

"Hell naw, me and my girl finna whoop y'all ass!" He semi-yelled as other friends of theirs started chiming in. All I could do was laugh.

They seem like a chill group.

As he brought us over to a separate lane, I saw his eyes fall on a girl, make a face, and then he turned us in another direction so his back was facing her.

My antennas immediately went up. I looked behind him to see a group of girls, but the one that was staring had on a hoodie and she looked like one of those Fashion Nova models.

They all got surgeries on them everywhere. They ain't lettin' no parts of their bodies relax apparently.

"Wassup?" I asked Chris as he towered over me.

"What you mean?" He asked playing slow.

I folded my arms, furrowed my eyebrows, and leaned to my right side.

"Bro, don't even play with me right now." I asserted.

He dropped his head, shook it, and then looked back into my eyes.

"Ight look... don't talk to that girl. She don't need to say shit to you or interact witchu'."

He said as I squinted my eyes.

"You used to talk to her?" I asked while being nervous to hear his answer.

He sighed and said, "We fucked twice... that was it."

Well, that was hard to hear.

"Thank you for being honest with me." I said as I uncrossed my arms and I sat down.

"Baby don't be mad at me." He pleaded as he sat down next to me.

"Chris, it was before me. I can't be mad at you. I'm just glad you told me the truth." I said honestly as I looked down at my hands.

"I just don't want no shit to start. Like I said, if she try to say anything to you, come get me. Don't say nothing to her ass. It ain't worth it." He said as I shook my head ok.

"Alright Chris..."

"I love you"

"I love you too.."

"You ready to bowl?"

"Yea, let's show them wassup wit' us." I said with a half smile.

"Bet, imma go put our names on the screen." He said as I shook my head ok.

"Jay?" I heard a feminine voice say as I turned around to a familiar face.

"Oh my gosh! I didn't know you were coming." I said smiling as Dee Cosey's girlfriend hugged me. I dapped him and he dapped Chris up.

"Yea I told you some of my homies were coming that you knew." He said as she put her arm around my shoulder.

We got cool at his family meet up and we see each other anytime Chris and Dee work on art and collaborate on clothes.

They are also designing shirts for the merchandise on tour. I'm excited to see it all.

"We can play on y'all lane?" Dee asked as Chris shook his head yes.
