Chapter 2: The Sea Prince

Underneath the waves, schools of fish and animals of all kinds can be seen, beautiful coral reefs and aquatic plants thrived, and has we went deeper, a silhouette emerged. It had the upper body of a human but its lower half is that of a fish; a mermaid. Has one appeared, soon others of its kind appeared, some bare different upper bodies, some with different skin tone and some of different variety.

Has soon the merfolk appeared, demons and hybrids that lived under the sea also emerged following the merfolk to a big cavernous tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, a large shining city came to view. A great stone wall surrounded the city, a stone bridge connected to a large gateway that leads to a beautiful underwater utopia. Buildings illuminating bioluminescence of different colors, making the city look beautiful and otherworldly. Merfolk, demons and hybrids can be seen swimming, conversing with one another, and enter and exiting buildings. Whales, dolphins, turtles, manta rays and many more sea animals can also be seen swimming around the city.

Further into the city, stands a magnificent palace made out of white quartzite rock has it sparkles a golden ethereal shine against the deep dark blue of the ocean. People can be seen entering the palace, the banquet hall was filled with people from different classes; from nobility to the gentry, to well-known and influential individuals. On the other side of the palace, a large merman can be seen swimming in the halls. The merman had turquoise blue skin and fin-like ears, and his eyes were a honey yellow, his hair was a bright orange as well as the beard on his face. His tail was a cobalt blue and he wore a white waist sash, golden bracelets and a giant magenta pink pearl necklace, and clinging on his shoulder, a seal pup that has the same turquoise skin with orange spots and wore the same colored pearl necklace.

He swam across the halls and entered another hall. When he entered, he saw two mermen talking to each other across the hall, one merman had white long hair and twin green horns sprouting from his head with gold bands adorning them and green fin ears, he wore golden armbands with small emeralds, a green sash over his chest pinned with a gold pin then lengthens into a one-sided cape and tied to green waist sash. He had jade green eyes that matched the color of his tail while the other had the upper body of a pig, he was the same height has the blue merman and his tail was a dark pink. He had blue eyes and he wore a silver necklace with sapphires, silver wristbands and a blue waist sash.

He swam towards them and the both of them spotted him. The pig-merman waved at him. "Sandy, there you are brother. Bai Longma and I were waiting for you." He said with a smile. Sandy scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Sorry for making you guys wait." He then looked around the room. "Where's Father, Lady Guanyin and eldest brother?" The pig-merman's face contorted into an annoyed scowl has he snorted and crossed his arms over his chest. "Don't know where that stupid sea monkey is. I know the guy can get a little shy and introverted at times but this is getting ridiculous!" He complained has he leaned against a pillar. Sandy chuckled and shook his head then turned to the other. "What about Father and Lady Guanyin?"

"They should be here soon since they said they were checking for last minute preparations for the celebration." The white-haired merman informed and soon a merman and a mermaid entered the hall. The merman was bald but he wore a red seashell crown with gold and white accents and a white cloth that was attached to the sides and back of the crown covering his red fin ears, his eyes were a warm amber and he was holding a golden staff in his right hand. He wore a red one shoulder robe, a long pearl necklace and his tail was a vibrant red. The mermaid beside him, had long black flowing hair with white fin ears, she wore a white veil on her head with three pearls adorning her forehead, a pastel pink tube bra with flowing white detachable armbands and an open front skirt that gradients into a soft pink and her tail was a soft lotus pink.
