Destined Reunion

Has DBK was trying to comfort Wukong, hiding beneath the surface, resting at the mouth of the entrance, were two sharks with glowing icy blue eyes. They stared at the mer-monkey and bull demon with identical smirks.

They glanced at each other before swimming up and slowly resurfaced then the first shark spoke in a deep voice followed by the second.

"Poor child."

"Poor sweet child."

DBK and Wukong were startled by the voices and turned to see the two sharks semi-circling around them. DBK tightened his grip on Wukong, Wukong's eyes narrowed in annoyance at them.

"What do you two want? I'm not in the mood for one of our chases."

Wukong sarcastically snapped at them.

They chuckled. The second shark turned to its partner. "He has very serious problem." The first chuckled and stopped moving for a bit to give the mer-monkey a mischievous look. "If only there was something we could do." Then starts swimming again.

"But there is something."

DBK growled and glared at them. "Who are you and what do you want?"

The sharks gave him a once-over before deciding to ignore him in favor of swimming towards Wukong. DBK pulled the mer-monkey closer to him and growled at them. Wukong narrowed his eyes in suspicion and his body tensed up.

"Don't be scared."

"We represent someone who could help you."

"Someone who could make all your dreams come true."

"Provides answers to the questions in your heart."

The two of them stared at him with glowing blue eyes has they spoke.

"Just imagine..."

"Both worlds living in peace and harmony."

"You and your king, together forever..."

"And finally knowing what happened to your mother..."

DBK glared at them distrustfully. He leaned down and whispered into the sea monkey's ear. "I don't trust them. Whatever they are saying, don't believe it or agree to anything they ask."

Wukong glanced at the bull demon then back to the sharks with a look of confusion. "I don't understand."

The sharks shared a smile with one another and the first shark spoke to Wukong. "The Lady Bone Demon has great powers."

Wukong gasped and tighten his grip on the Bull king's fur.

"The sea witch?"

"What?"

DBK stared down at Wukong in surprise then narrowed his eyes in anger at the sharks. Wukong shook his head. "I couldn't possibly – no! Just get out of here! Leave us alone!"

He turned away from them and clutched the stone to his heart. DBK kept glaring at them has he bellowed out an order. "You heard him, get out."

The sharks looked to each other then shrugged.

"Suit yourself."

"It was only a suggestion."

They turn to leave and DBK snorted. "Good riddance." Wukong didn't listened to him but instead, he was staring at the broken piece of the tablet. Wukong bit his lip, he glanced at the retreating figures then back at the stone.

"Wait!"

"Wukong, what are you-"

The two sharks turned around and gave him two identical earnest smiles.
