I also want to put the record straight because people have said that I've completely stolen Bazooka's story. I have not, but I will say that I do take inspiration in any book I've read and Bazooka's was one of them. I absolutely loved the Runaway as it was one the best stories I've read so I cannot help for it to be ingrained into my head and take inspiration from it. Hence why some scenes that Ive written are similar to the Runaway. I've have only read the Runaway a year ago I'd say (I'm not too sure) but I do know that I have already planned for the characters in my story from like two or more years ago before writing it. Basically I've written my characters way before I've read the Runaway, therefore I did not copy characters names from the Runaway.

As I have not finished this story, so there are many storylines yet to be written, so please give this story a chance. I mean this sincerely when I say this, I do not intend to be malicious or upset anyone with my actions, and I do understand the frustration. There are many authors that take inspiration from other authors so I didn't think there was any issues with it. So all credit is due to any stories I have taken inspiration from, especially Bazookah.

Welcome to 'The Chains: Temptations', my first ever story.

Everything in this book is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places, and incidents are used fictitiously and are a product of the author's imagination.

This story will be followed up with a series called 'The Chains Series' which is the series that follows the De Luca family which includes Nico (Chains of His Keeper), Rico, Grey and Kiraz. I'm still debating if Zina should have a story of her own.

In this story, there might be things that might not appeal to a reader so please do not complain. There also may be grammatical errors in theses chapters but I will proofread before publishing these chapters of course.

Also guys this story will use the following languages, Turkish, Spanish, Italian and Arabic. And I'll be using google translate when I'm writing in these languages because I don't know any of these languages, so if you are Turkish, Spanish, Italian or Arabic and the translation doesn't match up to the way you speak these languages, please blame google translate not me, thanks x.

Please bare in mind that because Madelyn has escaped the horror house that she lived in most of her lifetime and always stayed on 'house arrest', she won't know much about the 'outside' world. So she will be confused and clueless about most things.

ALSO, Nico isn't going to a knight in shining armour or prince charming. He's not going to agreeable and might be disturbing to some during this story.

Nico is not perfect at all, please keep in mind.
