MARA
I'm currently sitting on this grey fluffy couch whilst reading the same Harry Potter book that I've read countless times in Nico's living room. I'm not complaining about it but it does get boring to read the same books all these years with no other book to read.
But regardless I'm still grateful, there's kids starving in the world, I can't be selfish.
I did change into something else after Nico did tell me to change. I just changed into the same button up from yesterday but black long pants.
I want to go out but I'm not sure if Nico would let me, I was never allowed to go out back in the horror house, I would've been punished.
I mean I don't mind staying indoors, this house is incredible. I want to explore around here, this house is so big.
I stand and I look out of the glassed doors that lead to the backyard.
Even the backyard is breathtaking, I mean everything in and out this house is breathtaking.
There's flowers after flowers with variety of colours.
Who planted these pretty flowers? Maybe Nico because it is his house but I also don't think he's into that at all, I mean he doesn't look like the type.
Nico is intimidating and he's seems cold but who am I to judge?
Under all of that coldness, I know there warmth in him.
Out of nowhere, I hear a door creek open which must be the front door.
It's probably Nico's sister. I hope she's nice, no other woman has been nice to me other than my mother, so hopefully she is.
"Nico? Anyone here?" A female voice echoes.
What do I say? What do I do?
Oh God.
The doors of the living room open wider than before and a tanned woman with beautiful brown hair that is straight and has bangs just walks right in.
Her hair sways majestically, she jumps when she sees me.
She's wearing business attire which also sways as she moves.
She's gorgeous and she's the exact copy of Nico but in a female form.
"Oh hey, sorry you scared me." She says nervously.
"H-hi" I say nervously too.
She woman comes closer to me and sticks out her hand to shake mine. So I also take my hand out but it's just shaking while we make eye contact.
Her eyes are hazel, dark hazel. I'd thought she would have amber eyes like Nico but her eyes are still beautiful nonetheless.
She takes my hand and shakes it's gently.
"You must be Adelyn, I'm Zina, Nico's sister." She says with a warm smile on her face which brings me comfort, so I smile back because it would be impolite if I didn't do so.
Zina lets go of my hand.
"Nico says I just have to babysit you until he comes back from work but I think we'll just go out and hang out." She springs out.
Going out?
"I mean only if you want t-" She's cut off.
"I would love to go out with you!" I say cheerily.
Oh maybe I should show too much affection, people don't like that.
"Great! Let's head out." She says with a warm smile again.
