Death in dreams

ANNABETH

Annabeth fought against, Kios, blow after blow she tried to bring him down. But he seemed to be healing as fast as she could stike at him, and she was getting tired, she didn't know how much longer she could last, her breath was coming in quick and short cuffs. And no matter how much she tried, her lungs couldn't get enough oxygen. Sweat soaked her back, and made her her hair stick to her forehead. She was exauhsted. With all the energy she had left in her, and all her power of will, she threw her dagger, towards the titan's head, it hit its aim, and Kios, tumbled to the ground. Annabeth frowned, he couldn't be dead, she knew he would wake any minute, but this gave her a few seconds to catch her breath. She looked around to make sure her friends were okay. She saw campers lying on the floor, knew they were gone, but pushed any emotions that surged back down, she couln'd think about it right now. She caught sight of Piper and Leo fighting off empuosa, they seemed to be doing good. She saw Hazel on top of Arion and Frank disguised as a bull right beside her. Jason was nowere in sight, but she knew he was fine. She hoped he was. And Percy was behind her fighting another Titan, when she heard him cry out, "ANNABETH, LOOK OUT!" she spun around to see Kios looming over her her own dagger had fallen to the groud, but it was to far away for her to reach it, Kios swong his scythe towards her and she knew she should move, do something to evade his scythe, but she could do nothing. She closed her eyes and waited for the painfull blow. But nothing happen, and then she heard choking sounds, and opened her eyes, Percy layed on the floor, the scythe had sliced through his chest, Annabeth sank to her knees besides him. "What did you do idiot?!" she demanded as tears threatened to spill from her eyes. Percy's shirt had begun to get soaked with his blood, and his breathing was becoming ragged. He didn't answer just looked at her, eyes glazing over. "You...would've done...the...same for me.." he said smiling a little that trouble maker smile she would never see again.

"NO! Youre not dying on me seaweed brain, h-hang on...... I have water on my back pack" she turned around taking her pack off her shoulders and fished for the bottle of water, but when she turned around to pour it on Percy, she realized with horror, that his eyes were vacant, dead. It was too late now. He was gone. The tears she had been holding spilled down her cheeks. And she forgot about everything that was going on around her, she was barley aware that Jason, was now fendidng off Kios. Annabeth craddled her boyfriends body close to her, her shoulders shaking with small sobs.

And then the world dissapeared around her and she fell into darkness, it was as if she where falling to tartarus all over again. She woke up with the the feeling of falling, she screamed and then there were arms around her, and the salty smell of the sea. "It's okay Annabeth, it was just a nightmare, it's not real.....the war, we are okay" Percy said hugging her tightly.
