3rd Person

Max strutted through the halls of Constance/St Judes, with all the swagger of a alpha Wolf. When he spotted a familiar face trip and fall to the floor. He stopped in front of them and knelt down.

"Since when did Aviana Menzies become such a klutz?" He questioned his former friend/sexual partner sister.

"Since, I took on more classes than I could handle. This was a lot easier to manage in quarantine." Ava retorted collecting all her books and Max helped her. They returned back to their feet "And since when did Max Wolfe become a gent?" she smirked bad to him

"I always was a sucker for a pretty face." he gave her his charming smile.

"That smile doesn't work on me Wolfe. Just because I'm younger than Aki doesn't mean i'm not the wiser of the two." Ava chuckled adjusting her hoard of books to her chest. "That is the smile of someone who is going through some rough times." He rolled his eyes.

"You've been listening to Gossip Girl? I though you said you were smart?"

"Oh I am, I actually have her on mute. Aki briefly updates me of anything remotely interesting which is hardly ever. No, my deduction comes from reading your body language. Shall I impress you?" Max raised an eyebrow at the younger Menzies

"I'm intrigued." Ava turned to look out over the courtyard where his group of friends were socialising.

"Julian, the influencer. She's more of the insecure, for years her self image has always been pitted that of her mother and her abandonment, though her father adores her, she will always be the daughter of the woman who left. Subconsciously she creates this personality and image to change that perception not only to herself but to the outside world. It's worked well for her but she has one fatal flaw, that is beginning to crack the well polished and filtered image." Avi turned to Max "She relies on others to maintain the facade. Since the arrival of her sister, break up with Obie and alienation of others, her years of her hard work and others is breaking down, she is fooling herself that she's okay with that. Julien never dealt with all that she buried, chances are it will hit her like a brick to the face.

Then there is Audrey, blonde, walking perfection or so she'd like you to think. She has a lot of pressure on her. Again a parent abandonment, sucks. Her mom, bless her unable to deal with a harsh reality. Audrey now has to be kid and parent at the same time. She quite rightly is holding onto her youth but sadly the strain she's going through is mentally ageing her rapidly. So she seeks the clutch onto the connection of my brother who is dealing with the fact that he likes both sides. Anyway Audrey clutches onto him but in fact she should be seeking a more adult relationship."

"You recognised all that from looking out a window?" he questioned lamely

"No I recognised all that being the younger sibling not in the tight nit of friend group. Then studying Phycology I was able to put the pieces together to form an opinion." She pushed up her glasses. "And you Max, you're different. You still have the same air of confident ego, but it seems....chipped in away. Like your armour has been pierced. With two proud gays fathers, a social stunning climber of a biological mother. You've been taught that being open with who you are and proud of who you are is the key to happiness. I think you're slowly realising it's not and you want something more. Yet every time you try and reach for it, the fates cruel as they are snatch it away from you."

"And what makes you so sure of your analysis, Little Ava?" he shoved his hands in your pockets

"Your longing looks at my brother and Audrey, then your breathing changed ever so slightly evening out that for a moment you don't have to lie to yourself or me. Then there is your pupils and they tell me that you're finding this a turn on."
