Chapter Five

A/N - Hey guys and welcome to Chapter Five. Picture of the ring ^^^^^

——- Hannah's P.O.V ——-

Right now; Marcus, Beth and I are on our way back to Brighton. Beth decided to go straight back home to Alfie so that she could ask him about Zoe. She has always been insecure and she has trust issues. I know she has been with Alfie for over 5 years and Alfie would not dream of leaving her but I understand why she feels this way. I have nothing against Zoe, she's a good friend of mine but sometimes it looks like Zoe is flirting with Alfie. Personally I think Zoe has a thing for Jack, whenever she's around him she gets all flustered and kind of shy which isn't like Zoe when she's around her friends.

I grab Marcus' vlogging camera and he smiles at me "So a little update guys" I say to the camera "Marky and I are on our way back to Brighton but we have a stowaway" I say lifting the camera up to show Beth "Beth was seeing Jack and Finn too so she decided to come back with us" I say and Beth smiles "I miss my Alfredo though" she says pouting at the camera "Ugh, Beth and Alfie sicken me" I say pulling a fake disgusted face "I'm only joking. They have been relationship goals since 2008" I say and Marcus chuckles "Oh the memories of the early days of Balfie" he says and Beth groans "Don't remind me. We were so clingy all the time" she says and I turn the camera off "When you two first started going out. You couldn't spend even 2 minutes apart from each other and as adorable as it was it got kind of annoying" I say and Beth nods in agreement.

Marcus pulls up at Alfie's flat. Even though Beth and I live together she stays at Alfie's flat most of the time, it is kind of surprising that they haven't moved in together yet considering that they have been together for 7 years. Beth climbs out of the car as do I and Marcus, Marcus wraps his arm around my shoulder and we follow Beth into the apartment building. Beth unlocks the apartment door and we all walk in "ALFREDO" she shouts dropping her keys onto the coffee table by the door.

——- Beth's P.O.V ——-

I unlock the door to Alfie's apartment. He gave me a key as soon as he bought the place; it made sense because even though I don't live with him I do stay the night a lot. "ALFREDO" I shout putting my keys and bag down by the door. Alfie comes into the hallway and pulls me into hug, kissing the top of my head and then smiling at Marcus and Hannah "Did you two finally confess?" he asks and Marcus nods "Yeah. We both got the girls we wanted" he says and Alfie nods "Yeah we did" he says and I smile up at him.

We all walk into the kitchen and Hannah starts to make herself a drink. That might sound weird but for us we're pretty much at home in any one of our apartments, we all have keys to each other's apartments in case we need somewhere to stay or somewhere to go for a while. We've been best friends for a long time so we do whatever; we act more like family than we do friends in all honesty. Marcus stands next to her and I turn to Alfie "Alf, can I talk to you in your room for a second?" I ask and he nods hesitantly.

I take Alfie's hand and we walk into the bedroom "USE PROTECTION" Marcus shouts just before we shut the door and we both laugh "What's up Baby?" Alfie asks sitting down on his bed and I sit next to him "Well. Don't interrupt me okay? I want to tell you everything" I say and he nods taking my hands in his for comfort "You know I love you, I love you more than anything. Lately I have been feeling like Zoe likes you, like full on feelings for you. I know that must sound stupid but honestly that's what I think. I can't explain why I think that but I do, it just seems like Zoe has feelings for you. I have been so scared to ask you about this because comparing Zoe to me is like comparing a ballerina to an elephant. I am afraid that saying this to you will make you realise that you have feelings for Zoe and you will leave me. I don't want that to happen Alf, I don't know what I would do" I say letting a couple of tears fall.

Alfie wipes the tears away gently before smiling at me "Beth I could never leave you, I would never leave you. If I did I would be leaving my heart behind. You have no idea how much you mean to me, how much you have always meant to me. No girl in this world compares to you, in my eyes you are the most beautiful girl ever" he says pulling me into a loving hug after his speech "I think I need to do something though" he says standing up and kneeling down on one knee.

He pulls out a small black velvet box from under his side of the bed "After that confession of complete feelings" he says and I giggle "We have been in a relationship for the past 7 years and I believe this question is long overdue" he says opening up the box to reveal a gorgeous silver ring with a large diamond in the middle and smaller diamonds to this sides "Bethany Tessa Richards; will you marry me?" he asks and I nod, unable to form words. I hold out my left hand which is shaking uncontrollably and Alfie slips the ring onto my marriage finger "I love you" I say placing my hands on his cheeks and kissing him sweetly "I love you too" he says.

——- Hannah's P.O.V ——-

Beth and Alfie have been in the bedroom for like 20 minutes now. Marcus and I are sitting on the couch watching TV. Marcus wraps his arm around my shoulder and starts to lightly rub my upper arm "How do you think their talk is going?" I ask and Marcus kisses the top of my head "I think that it's going well. We both know that Alfie would never leave Beth, on the very rare off chance that he did then he would have to deal with us" he says and I giggle "That's very true" I say cuddling into his side.

A few minutes later Alfie and Beth walk into the living room with massive smiles on their faces "I'm guessing everything went well" I say and they both nod "Look" Beth says holding out her left hand and my mouth drops "OH MY GOD" I shout jumping up and pulling her into a hug "This is amazing" Marcus says standing up and bro-hugging Alfie "Do you reckon you should move in together now" Marcus says as we all sit down on the couches "I think we should. What about you Baby?" Alfie asks looking down to Beth who nods "Yeah but who's flat should we move to?" she asks.

Alfie shrugs and looks to us "I have a suggestion" Marcus says placing his hand on my thigh "How about Beth moves in here, Hannah moves in with me and the girls sell their current flat" Marcus says and I lock eyes with Beth "I'm down if you are" I say and Beth nods "You know I am" she says and we both look to the guys we love "Looks like we're moving in with our girls Mate" Marcus says and Alfie nods "I don't think I would have it any other way" Alfie says.

I don't care about the fact that Marcus and I haven't been dating for very long because I have this feeling that we will go far.
