Chapter Eighteen

----- Hannah's P.O.V -----

I can't believe what has just happened, I don't even understand why it has happened if I am being honest. All Marcus did was protect me and he had a right to do that, it was Matt that provoked it all anyway. I know that Matt and Niomi probably had no idea about what club we were going to but still they didn't need to come over to us and Matt most definitely didn't need to act like he did. I just think that everything happened too quickly and no one really managed to stop any of it before it got to the point that it did.

Marcus is in the hospital right now; no one is telling me anything though. Because none of his family is here they can't say anything to anyone even though I have been dating him for a while now. I am so worried because they are running tests and everything but I don't even know if he's doing okay because no one will tell me a damn thing. Matt has been arrested because even though Marcus threw the first punch it was Matt that beat up Marcus, Matt came out practically without a scratch compared to Marcus. Niomi has gone with Matt and honestly I am glad that she has gone with him because I couldn't have made any promises if I was in the same room with her.

Troye places his hand on my shoulder making me jump "Sorry Hanni" he says and I smile weakly "It's fine. I'm just worried about him" I say and he pulls me into a side hug "You love him. Don't you" he says and I laugh lightly "I love him way more than I ever though I could Troye" I say and the doctor walks out into the waiting room "Is any of Mr Butler's family here?" he asks and we all shake our heads "We don't live here, we live in England" I say and the doctor nods "This is his girlfriend. She has the right to know" Joey says and the doctor nods again "Okay then. You can see him but he needs some time before having large amounts of visitors" the doctor says.

Both Troye and Joey pull me into a quick hug "He's fine Hanni" Joey says and I nod "I hope so" I say and they both hug me again. The doctor nods at me and we both walk to where Marcus is; he's in a ward and not a private room so that means that he isn't in that bad of a state because being in a ward usually suggests that you will be getting released within the next day or so. When the doctor and I reach Marcus he's sat up in his bed on his phone and I roll my eyes. Of course, he's sat in a hospital bed, all bruised and battered and he cannot put his phone down.

Marcus looks up from his phone and smiles when he sees me "Hey Honey" he says and I kiss him before sitting down on the edge of his bed "How is he?" I ask the doctor as I take Marcus' hand in mine "Your boyfriend has a busted lip, cut eyebrow, quite severe bruising in various places" the doctor says reading things off his chart "He has also fractured two of his ribs however the fractures are very minor" the doctor says and I am guessing Marcus notices the worry on my face because he squeezes my hand "Because of the fractures he needs to stay in overnight but he will be released tomorrow afternoon" the doctor says and I nod "Is it okay if I stay here with him tonight? I don't mind just sleeping in the chair" I say and the doctor smiles at me "That's fine Miss" he says before leaving the ward.

I look to Marcus who doesn't look the best please "Why aren't you going back to the hotel Honey?" he asks and I sigh "Because I don't want to leave you here" I say and he chuckles "I am a big boy Honey. I can survive a night" he says and I shake my head "Plus there's also the fact that I won't be able to sleep without you" I say and he smiles fondly at me "That's cute" he says and I smile "What can I say" I say getting up from the bed and sitting in the large arm chair that is situated next to his bed "Where's your jacket?" I ask and he grabs it off the corner of his bed "Here" he says handing it to me "Thank you" I say taking off my heels and then curling up into the chair, placing Marcus' jacket over me as some sort of cover.

I look to Marcus who is chuckling at me "What?" I ask half asleep "You look absolutely adorable" he says and I blush slightly "Shut up" I say and he chuckles again "I am only stating a fact Honey" he says and I roll my eyes "This is where you shush so I can sleep" I say and he leans out of his bed slightly to kiss me "I love you" he says and I nod "I love you too. I'm so glad you're okay" I say and he smiles at me again "Sleep Honey. I will be here when you wake up because I kind of can't go anywhere right now" he says and I laugh "If you are not here when I wake up then there will be consequences mister" I say and he nods "I know Honey, I know" he says and I close my eyes.

I am definitely happy that Marcus is okay. When I saw him on the floor after Matt got off him my heart completely stopped for a second, he was barely conscious and I was so scared in case he fell unconscious and then didn't wake up again.

I love Marcus so much and I don't know what I would do without him. I mean those moments in that hospital waiting room was enough to make me feel sick to my stomach.
