Glitched Memories [FNAF AU | Story 1]

~+[ Chapter 42 | Wait, Who are you? ]+~

As the four chatted and ate their food, Detective George would have grabbed his stuff and left after saying goodbye to the trio after paying for his and their check/bill. As the three looked at one another once the detective had left, Elizabeth would have walked away outside as Sam and Lexi followed behind out into the chilly weather as it was slowly starting to snow.

After a couple long minutes they would have finally made it to the house as Elizabeth entered the house but noticed the door was already opened and unlocked. "Well that's weird-" said she as Elizabeth entered the house and noticed some boots near the doorway that were covered in snow plus a backpack that was hung up onto one of the coat hangers, as well as a purple coat as Elizabeth looked around and noticed nothing was stolen.

"Doesn't look like anything was stolen...tho it is pretty warm in here..." said she as Elizabeth noticed some of the heaters around the house. "Think someone broke in just to look around?" said Sam. "Probably- And if so, why?" said Elizabeth as she heard a light thud come from upstairs as the girl wiped off and stomped off any snow on her boots as Sam and Lexi did the same before entering the house as Elizabeth carefully went upstairs and saw a teen girl who looked to be around 18 or 19 as she had long blonde hair that was tied back and she would have accidentally dropped her flashlight.

"Oh shoot-" the girl quietly said as she turned on her flashlight and shined it at Elizabeth, Sam, and Lexi as she yelled in fear before stumbling backwards. "I-I AM SO SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN TO-" "Whoa whoa hey- IT'S ok- We're not here to hurt you nor are we gonna call the police on you for breaking in here-" said Elizabeth as she looked at the girls scared expression and especially at the girls eyes as the girl had two different eye colors, the left being blue and the right being green as the girls eye color seemed almost familiar...too familiar in fact.

"Hey, What's your name?" Sam asked. "V-Vanessa..." said the woman nervously. "Nice to meet you ness, wait- CAN I CALL YOU NESS?!" Said Sam happily. "S-sure I guess?" said she as the girl seemed really panicked as Lexi smacked the back of Sam's head. "Ow! Why'd you do that!" Said Sam to Lexi. "Because for what you said reminded me too much of you wanting to call me Lex for short-" said Lexi as he glared at Sam.

"Sorry about those two, they're idiots-" said Elizabeth. "Hey! Were not idiots!" said Sam as he glared at Elizabeth who kept looking at the girls' eyes before then getting lost in thought. 'Is she dad's kid or something or a sibling dad never told us about? Or is she by chance Michael's kid? no- that's doubtful- who would even want to be with my brother anyways- plus it's probably just a coincidence that she has my brother's eyes and also has blonde hair..'

"Who are your parents by any chance?" Elizabeth managed to ask while ignoring what Sam said. "I d-don't know who my dad is but all I know from my mom that he's an afton...a-also my mom's name is Mary Juno Hollow..." said Vanessa.

'Ok so that didn't quite answer my question- well it DID kinda since she's obviously isn't a sibling of mine since I know dad never got back with mom...then again Michael always hung out with that one blonde girl after Evan died and when he snuck out of the house...so maybe him? But I always thought those two were just friends...unless-' Elizabeth thought as she looked at the girl with a surprised look once realized who her dad was.

"What? W-what is it?" said the woman as Vanessa nervously looked at Elizabeth. "I think I might know who your dad is...and very painfully so- since he's my annoying tall older brother-" said Elizabeth. "W-wait what? You're kidding right? Is that why you kept looking at me?" said Vanessa to Elizabeth.

"Well to be fair telling by just looking at you I think I can also guess who your dad is as well- And to be honest I'm going to punch him in the gut for not telling us about you-" said Lexi as the girl looked nervous and scared as she slightly backed away from the three while still on the floor. "Just...who is m-my dad...cause you all are acting l-like who it is, is well...a b-bad thing..." said Vanessa.

"Oh no it's not! We're just shocked is all-" said Sam while completely clueless on who Lexi and Elizabeth thought were this girls dad. "O-oh..." said she as Vanessa got up while just trying her best to calm down as she was slightly having a slight panic attack and Elizabeth knew this since had been around her brother Evan long enough. "H-hey calm down- Just breathe ok? We can talk downstairs if you'd like once your calmed down enough.." said Elizabeth as Vanessa just nodded. "O-ok.." Vanessa nervously replied.

Elizabeth would walk down the stairs as Sam and Lexi followed behind. "So she's also an afton?" Sam whispered to Elizabeth. "From the looks of it yea- And most likely my brother's kid-" Elizabeth replied as she looked at him. "Want me to stand near the front door so she doesn't quickly bolt for the door or?" Lexi asked. "No- Don't do that- We need her to trust us since she seems to trust me a tiny bit more than you two- plus she seems pretty scared and skittish-" said Elizabeth to Lexi.

"Hm, Alright.." said Lexi as he walked away into the living room while Sam closed the front door and just went over to sit on the couch which was decently warm from all the heaters around the house as Elizabeth glanced at the stairs where she heard slow footsteps which were Vanessa's as she was just cautiously walking down the stairs while looking directly at the three.

"Hm, Well she seems pretty spooked-" said Sam. "Well duh dumbass we nearly scared her half to death and made her think us knowing who her dad is, is a bad thing-" said Lexi. "Yea Sam-" said Elizabeth as she then looked to Vanessa who turned off her flashlight while fixing her hair a small bit as she nervously looked at them.

"So..What exactly are you doing here?" Elizabeth asked her. "L-looking for any information on my d-dad and who that might b-be...and from what I'm guessing you already know who that is...so...who is it a-anyways?" Vanessa replied while asking as she was genuinely curious.

"Michael- Michael Afton, He's my older brother like I said before but don't worry he isn't bad or anything, He's pretty chill and nice" said Elizabeth to the girl. "O-oh" Vanessa replied as she looked at the girl. "So th-that would make you my aunt?.." Vanessa asked. "I-..I guess so yea" said she as Elizabeth never really thought about that before.

"A-anyways- The name's Elizabeth and these two idiots are Sam and Lexi-" said Elizabeth as she pointed to Sam and Lexi. "Oh..also It's um, nice to meet you three?.." said Vanessa as she didn't know what to do nor say. "What are um...you three doing here..." she asks. "Just exploring and checking up on this place since this used to be my old house" said Elizabeth. "Oh cool!" said she as Vanessa seemed to have calmed down enough.

"Anyways what exactly were you looking for about your dad? Or more specifically about my brother-" Elizabeth asked. "Just something or anything really...My mom never really said anything about him other than he has two different colored eyes, long brown hair, and a few clawmark scars over his eyes" said Vanessa as she looked at Elizabeth while fidgeting with the sleeves of her purple plaid flannel.

"Hm, I see" said Elizabeth as she walked away upstairs and into her room a she looked around and sighed before plopping down onto her old bed where she laid there with her face down into the bed. After a couple small minutes she would roll over, sit up, and get out her phone as she just went to her messages and specifically texted Michael,

'What?' [1:03 PM]

'WHY THE FUCK DID YOU NEVER TELL ME YOU HAD A KID?! LET ALONE GOT WITH SOMEONE AND MANAGED TO HAVE A KID!' [1:03 PM]

'Uhhh...Because It just never came up? Heh-' [1:03 PM]

'MICHAEL!!' [1:03 PM]

'OK OK I NEVER SAID ANYTHING BECAUSE EVER SINCE I DIED I DIDN'T THINK TO GET BACK IN CONTACT WITH MY GIRLFRIEND AND DAUGHTER' [1: 04 PM]

'Really?' [1:04 PM]

'WHAT?! I DIDN'T GO BACK TO PROTECT THEM AND BECAUSE I KNOW MY GIRLFRIEND WOULD HAVE FREAKED OUT IF SHE FOUND OUT I WAS A WALKING DEAD SMELLY CORPSE!" [1:04 PM]

'...Fair enough- I- Just why did you never say anything?' [1:04 PM]

'WELL YOU NOR EVAN EVER ASKED IF I HAD A GIRLFRIEND AND THAT I LEFT THEM!' [1:05 PM]

Elizabeth sighed as she put her phone away and just laid back down onto the bed while looking up at her ceiling.
