Staples

Dabi's Pov
After a very long and painful fight, I return to the Lov Hideout alone. Everyone else was gone doing something else outside of the hideout. Leaving me to suffer in agonizing pain on my lonesome. I notice blood dripping down my arm which only means one thing. My staples are coming out. With each step I take toward my room I feel the pieces of metal rip out of my skin as blood trails behind me. I breathed heavily. I finally reached my room. I walk in before closing the door. I headed toward my bathroom I got all the supplies I needed before I started to take out my old staples and replace them with new ones. I had bloody tears down my face. After I finish the last staple I feel light-headed. I soon felt my eyes roll to the back of my head before I collapsed on the bathroom floor from blood loss.

Shigaraki's Pov
I enter the Lov hideout immediately noticing the blood trail as I cautiously follow it. I followed it all the way to Dabi's door now I'm very concerned. I carefully opened the door. I noticed the trail continue to the bathroom where I spot Dabi covered in blood and laying on the ground. I rushed to check for a pulse. "Good, he's still breathing," I said quietly to myself. I brought his body to his bed placing him down gently. Surprisingly he's very light. I cleaned all the blood on him and then on everything else before placing myself into a chair beside his bed. 'When he wakes up he better explain this.' I said to myself.

Dabi's Pov
I slowly opened my eyes as I slightly sit up. I looked to my right to see Shigaraki sitting in a chair drinking tea and reading one of my books. I looked at him confused. "Good afternoon Touya," Shiggy said politely. "How long have I been out?" I asked a little dazed. "Three days I had to cancel four meetings and an attack on the UA because I couldn't leave you alone here by yourself. And if you're wondering I got Kurgoiri to deliver the tea to your room he didn't ask any questions so don't worry." Shiggy said calmly. "Thank you Tenko," I said softly. "You're welcome now you owe me an explanation," Shiggy said. "Well, you know how I was burned alive?" I asked. "Yeah what does that have to do with anything?" Shiggy asked slightly confused. "Well when I was burned I did almost die but someone saved me before I did. They were a healer they did all they could to help me but most of the damage was permanent. So for me to live they had to staple my burned skin to my still-alive skin. After 6 months usually, I have to replace my old staples with new ones." I said, "How do you know when to replace them?" Shiggy asked. "Either my arm starts bleeding because the burned skin is undoing or my staples start getting infections." I said.
