"Uhm, are you hungry?" Awkward kong tanong, honestly hindi ko alam ang gagawin lalo na't narito ito. I mean I don't know how to treat him. Sa tagal na naming hindi nag kita tsaka nakakahiya kaya iyong last day namin bago kami hindi na muli nag kita. Forda laplap. My ghad!

"Yeah." He was looking at me intensely which makes things more awkward for me. Kung nakatingin ang lalaki sa akin ay para bang mawawala ako rito ng ilang sandali kapag kumurap ito. He was looking at me like am that someone he needs to keep on eye with for me not to run away.

Nakakatunaw ang paraan nito ng pagtitig. Sinubukan kong hindi manghina habang hinahanda ang kakainin nito. I basically microwave the adobo I cooked last night. Sayang naman, ayoko ma-sayang lang.

While I was busy preparing he suddenly opened a topic. "How are you Jenna? It's been years since we seen each other." I glanced at him for a second then continue.

"I've been doing good. Paid good, yeah." And kept thinking of you. I said in the back of mind but stopped my self reacting to that. He was quiet after I answered I curiously glanced at him. Bakit naman ito nanahimik? Should I ask back? Yeah, I should.

"How about you, Claud. Should I call you Your Highness, my Lord?" I joked at the end but he didn't react to that making me panicked a little. Hindi naman siguro offensive iyon diba? What if ayaw niyang tawagin siyang your highness dito?

"It was... not good." He went silent again after saying that making curious more. Bakit naman hindi maganda ang buhay nito nitong mga taon?

"Because of the threats?" I mindlessly asked but he shakes his head as no.

"Why then?" Gusto kong batukan itong si Claud pabitin-bitin ang mga salita gusto pa may intense. Hindi pa naman mahaba ang pasensya ko. Dumadagdag pa ito. But got think those years he wasn't in his greatest. I wonder why? He seems happy in those footage I see in the news. Hindi naman sa pinapanood ko iyon pero parang ganon na nga.

"You left." He said after long silence. How can be that related to his past years... I left and he didn't have greatest in those years? Asumera ko naman.

"I need to." He scoffs sarcastically, I heard him scoffed. Why? He doesn't believe me? I'm stating the fact. But it's for me to keep, I must buried this with me.

"I asked you to stay." I looked at him like he is nuts. I wouldn't stay in that palace. I don't know him than his title and his name and how good kisser he is. It doesn't mean we kissed we already engaged attachment. That doesn't makes since at all and I'm pursuing my dream. He was out of the picture, I mean he was in the picture but I choose to cut him out for his own good.

For the first years of his reign he shouldn't have a scandal of kissing a commoner. And I know that damn well that my brother is married to his sister. We're basically in laws. So that's fucked up.

"I don't know you Claud. I wouldn't stay for half baked. It was just a midst of moment for us two. I'm sure it won't happen again." I said smiling at him but he wasn't amused at all. Well, I don't what him to be. He better focus being a great king and find the mastermind of these threats. Not having a romantic moment with me.

I'm not worth of the pain. But he is.

"No. I will make sure it. Will. Happen. Again." Madiin na sabi nito kung saan matiim itong nakatingin sa akin siyang hindi ko pinansin at inilatag rito ang kakainin.

"Eat. Then rest. I need to go to work." I mumbled I'm pretty sure he heard it. I sighed and went inside the room and went for a shower. I brushed Claud in my head to move faster, I was getting late. It was shocking I slept great last night. It was the longest sleep I ever had.

I wrapped my body with towel as I stepped out the bathroom. Medyo natigilan ako ng makita si Claud na nakaupo sa kama animo'y nanghihintay. I didn't utter a word and went to the closet to get my goddamn clothes which I forget to bring earlier in the bathroom because I was absent minded.

Without looking at him I walked towards the bathroom. Napatingin naman ako sa lalaki ng harangan nito ang daan papuntang bathroom. I literally need to look up to him because he was so tall for my 5'1 height. I'm just an Filipina y'all!

"Do you need something?" I asked as I looked at his shoulder baka sumasakit iyon kaya ito lumapit ngunit hindi ito sumagot sa akin nakatingin lamang ito sa aking mga mata. What is he trying to do?

"Look Claud I nee-"

"I'm looking." Napipilan ako sa sinabi nito na siyang nakatingin ito sa labi ko at muling bumabalik sa mata. His callous huge palm caught my tiny waist. I grasped as he pulled me to him closer harshly. He seems mad. I didn't make him mad!

"I getting late, let go I need to change." I asked softly for him to let me go. Pero mas lalong hinigpitan nito ang pagkakapit at mas oinalapit pa lalo ang aming distansya. Umawang ang labi ko dahil ibinababa nito kunti ang ulo upang magtanday ang aming taas. He lowered his body for us to be leveled.

"File a day off." He coldly said making me creased my forehead at him. Is he nuts? Kung gagawin ko iyon ano na Lang ang kakainin namin. Bugok ba ang lalaking 'to? I rolled my eyes but he grabbed my chin instead to make me look at him more closely. I gulped as I saw seriousness in his eyes.

But I don't want to.

"I'm filing a day off, Claud. Let go I'm getting late. I'll deal with you later." Sabi ko medyo naiirita na. Ngunit matigas ang ulo. Yung isang ulo sana tumigas rin. Charot.

"No, deal with me. Now." I raised my brow to him he just fought back with his intense stare. Would he stare at me like this if I do him? Hmm? But I'm getting late so fuck that. Being late isn't my thing.

I grabbed his nape and dipped for a kiss which caught him off guard. I moved my lips in him but he was too shocked to move which made me smirk in between his lips. And bit his lower lip for finishing touch. His hold soften enough for me to be freed in his arms. With a satisfied smile in my lips I went to the bathroom then changed.

"Take care the house for me Claud. I'll be back." She bid him goodbye while Claud was too stun to speak and just nodded looking at his dearest.

He didn't really expected her to kiss him and bit his lower lip. He was in cloud 9 for a second, he missed his chance! Damnit!
