Last night I went to sleep, the weirdest dream I've possibly had.
Saw me face to face with red, bone crushing things. Things no human should've experienced.
My hands still shake and I'm still sweating even though my mother woke me up... again.
I follow my same routine and try to forget what I saw.
Till everything feels like dejavu.
I know dreams connect to real life, but what if real life connected to this dream?
I see the same toothbrush my mom changed out for me in my dream,
The same shirt my father found in the attic in the dream.
A weird cup my brother has now?
Till i walk outside and i smell everything i remember from that dream,
The smell of burning toast, cut grass, and asbestos.
Random smells that you can't forget.
And that strange man in a hat walking his cat,
Suddenly turns toward me.
And I'm right back where I started.
It feels like i am in a time warp
But aren't we all?
It's not something i can change though and i'm stuck.
You have the chance to.
So go do something about it.
