Don't Be Jealous

This is an AU based on my fan fiction 'Don't Say Yes' Just some fun Christmas story with ups and downs!

Snow sprinkled gently from the sky, landing on the pavement quietly as Mike and Will approached Will's childhood home where they would spend their Christmas with Will's family.

Will looked back at Mike on the front porch and smiled to him, his nose and cheeks tinted red from the  cold air that surrounded them, "Are you ready for a Byers Christmas?" He asked as he wriggled his eyebrows.

Mike sighed softly and nodded, "Yeah I guess, let's get you inside before you freeze." He smiled as he fixed Will's hat on his head and kissed his cheek.

The door swung open to reveal Joyce smiling the biggest smile ever, which was also accompanied with the ugliest Christmas sweater ever known to graze Mike and Will's eyes, "Why are you boys just standing there?! Get inside before you freeze!" She exclaimed before pulling them both in from the snow and shutting the door.

The warm air and smell of freshly cooked turkey made Will smile widely, he'd missed his mothers meals even if they turned out to be a disaster sometimes;

"Hi mom." Will smiled as he pulled her into a tight embrace, Joyce returned the hug even tighter.

"I missed you so much, why did you have to move to jersey?" Joyce complained as she pulled away and kissed Will's face.

"Because my husband lives there." Will laughed as he took his hat off and looked in the mirror to fix his hair.

"The famous Mike Wheeler." Joyce smiled as he pulled Mike in for a tight squeeze, Mike couldn't deny that Joyce's hugs were the best, he always melted into them.

"Hi Miss Byers." He smiled hugging her back before pulling away, "Everything okay?"

"Everything is great! Me and hopper just found out Jane bought us a cruise for two weeks." She exclaimed excitedly.

Mike laughed a little as he watched her walk away to the kitchen, "She's very excited." He said looking at his husband.

"It's Christmas, don't be such a Scrooge Mike." Will laughed as he took Mike's coat and hung it up before bringing him into the living room.

"Hey Jane!" Will smiled widely as he pulled his twin sister in for a hug before he felt someone wrap their arms around his leg, "Hey Phillip!" He exclaimed as he knelt down to his nephew and pulled him into a tight hug.

"Uncle Will I missed you!" Phillip smiled as he pulled away and ran over to Mike, "Uncle Mike!"

"Yeah hi." Mike said awkwardly as he patted Phillips head and lightly shook him off his leg.

"Phillip, leave uncle Mike alone." Jane warned as she walked over and took his hand, "You know he doesn't like hugs."

"But mom! I give great hugs!" Phillip whined as Jane lifted him.

"Let's go see what granny Joyce is doing!" Jane smiled as she left the room.

Will smiled and wrapped his arms around Mike's neck, "Don't you just love kids?" He asked as he kissed around Mike's lips slowly, pressing a light kiss on each corner of Mike's mouth.
