Next Day

Both the Rajvansh family and Ishika's family were sitting in the living area, of her house, along with pandit Ji.

"Aunty, Abhiraj was busy that's why he isn't present here." Tejaswini says.

"Okay. Is he okay with this proposal?" Jayanti Devi asks suspiciously. She is still not able to digest the fact that a man so handsome as Abhiraj has agreed for the marriage with Ishika.

"Yes. He has left the decision on us, and we'll always do what's best for him." Harsh interjects knowingly since he knows how bad Tejaswini is at lying.

Anand along with Jayanti Devi nod in understanding.

"So Pandit ji when is the best date for their engagement?" Jayanti Devi asks pandit ji.

"Umm Aunty about that, in our family the elder son's pre-wedding functions are not performed, except Haldi and Mehandi ceremonies and those too among family members." Tejaswini informs her, even though she never understood the logic of this tradition.

"And secondly we have to get Abhiraj married in this month only due to some dosh. That's why we are hurrying with all these things." She adds.

"But there will be a lot of arrangements for the marriage. How'll we do it in such a short time." Revathi asks, getting emotional about her daughters' marriage.

"You don't worry about that Revathi. We don't have any issues with it." Anand intervenes. He does not want to risk with things.

Everyone agrees.

"Sharda bring Ishika. Let her meet them all."

Jayanti is still not sure about this proposal. So to clear her doubts she wants the family to see her first. Pictures can sometimes be deceiving.

Ishika takes a deep breath, she was waiting for this moment only. Even she wants them to meet her first before proceeding with things.

She enters the living area along with Sharda, subtly looking at the guests.

"Chachi." She quickly clasps her hand, shocked out of her wits.

"What happened?" Sharda asks.

Her eyes widen, Harsh Rajvansh and Arjun Rajvansh are here, in her house.

"Were you all talk...ing ab..out
Abh...iraj Singh Raj....vansh yesterday?"

She is shocked out of her witts.

"Yeah."

How can this ever happen? He can never agree for her. This is impossible.

"Now come." Chachi grabs her hand and takes her near them.

No No No No. This will surely not work.

This won't work.

He'll never agree to this.

But can anything change now? No...

"Namaste." She straighten  herself, forging her horror with a smile, and bend down to touch their feet but they stop her quickly taking her in a hug.

"Daughters don't touch feet beta." Harsh says, Tejaswini nodding along with her.

Jayanti Devi's hawk eyes are noticing their every reaction but couldn't doubt anything which would show their displeasure towards her.

"Ji pandit jii please tell us the dates suitable for marriage." Anand says to him after everyone settles down.

"Ji."
