I've been trying to
Figure all this out
But nothing makes any sense
Troublesome life
Torturous beings
And the worst is all in me.
Rage and Violence
All the bad things
I've been trying to
Think of nice things
Wanting to forget all that's bad,
Now it looks like things can get better.
Cause I know I rock
Rock'n doesn't mean I boss.
I'll figure out me
I'll outshine all
Cause I'm the hope for me
Looking out I see a brighter day
Trees that all stand tall
And now I know I rock
But rock'n doesn't mean I boss.
I need not insult others
Or laugh at another's pain
Because I know once I used to be
In their place
Therefore rock'n doesn't mean I boss.
