I keep on thinking
about the days of old.
Our carefree childhood and
the promises we made.
Today we are far apart
The distance keeps me away
But my heart is always with you.
Our life is long
and our memories are strong.
You are my strength and weakness
My wisdom and my folly.
I have been praying to the rising sun,
to the towering hills and to
these whispering winds
that blow from town to town,
to carry forward a message
a message of love, for you.
